I received this product from Amazon in perfect condition. I was actually really happy that there was no box and there was not 1 mark on it! It shipped for free, which is also wonderful...

The pool is made with top quality, heavy duty material and it holds so much water. I have 7 pit bull mixes and 1 dachshund. My dachshund obviously needs stairs or a ramp to get in/out of the pool, but it is still great for small dogs, if set-up properly.

Texas is in the triple digits and it is brutal on my dogs. When we can't make it to the lake we play fetch in the pool. They absolutely love this so much more than the kiddie pools we had before. They will just lay in there relaxing, sniffing the breeze, or dropping their ball in the water and bobbing for it. The other day I bought 4 large bags of ice at the store and poured it into the pool. They went crazy trying to eat all the ice and the water stayed so cold for hours! And man, this pool is sturdy.

The white color keeps the water at its coolest, so that is also a plus. The dogs don't care if it looks a little dirty.

And at the end of the day when all of us are done playing, I drain the pool and it waters the tree it sits under. It is great that you can just drain it and walk away. In the morning I dump the remaining water out that sits above the drain and start fresh. The dogs can barely wait until it is all filled up.

This pool will last, so it is worth every penny. I also greatly enjoyed my purchasing experience with Amazon. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase and my dogs would love if I bought 7 more!

I ordered this *expensive* pool after having gone through some of the other vinyl ones. They worked fine for two years or so, but I got tired of patching them and decided to spend the extra money. Also, after reading some reviews about shipping damage, I was nervous about ordering from Amazon. Well, I worried for no reason. The pool arrived in perfect condition (without any packaging as someone else stated).

My 90lb Rottie loves it. The only thing I should mention is that it is slippery on the bottom. I added some of those tub non-slip decals to it and that solved that problem.

It is easy to drain and clean. It is a great year round pool for my doggie.

Amazon seems to have taken note of prior reviewers who complained about non-packaging for shipping. Mine came wrapped in plastic, with a large doubled piece of cardboard protecting the top. No damage or dings, and delivered right to the back gate.

Product is quite sturdy, including the drain. I bought it to replace a $15 wading pool purchased from Wal*Mart two years ago, when I only had my older dog. That cheapo pool is still functional for the older pooch, but I didn't think it would hold up to her and the active new puppy when they start rassling, or even the new puppy chasing her tail & tumbling against the walls. Within a few hours, this thing proved it's up to their challenge. It's also wonderful to have a high-quality drain so I can empty the pool & move it when needed (e.g., hurricane season, winter, new landscaping, etc.). I bought a short (6-ft) hose and keep it connected to the pool all the time for draining.

I posted a photo in the gallery to show the pool less than 5 minutes after filling it. My yard has a lot of non-grass spots, and so it didn't take long for the puppy (especially) to make the pool a rather muddy mess. I later moved the pool onto the deck to eliminate some of the mess, but it still requires cleaning periodically. I bought a little Water Tech BROOM Pool Blaster, Aqua Broom to pick up the dirt and crud periodically, and a small pool skimmer to take the pine needles & leaves out. I also use a spa-size chlorine dispenser for both chlorine tablets and Mosquito Dunks 6/Card 704655....

Update: After a year of use and abuse by two active, water-loving dogs in the Texas heat, the pool is still good as new, and I still love it. My original review had 4 stars due to the price, but I'm updating to reflect the *value* of this pool, which is excellent. Read more ›

The pool is cute and the size great, but why white? We use this pool at our dog daycare and shortly after filling it, there's a noticeable ring around the perimeter. But the dogs don't care ... they love it.

I have two chocolate labs and they LOVE the bone pool. For that matter, my grand babies love it too. My dogs play in the pool by rolling over on their back, pawing the water when I place a toy in the pool or just veg from the heat. I would recommend you getting one for your dogs and one for your grandchildren. This pool is sturdy and can not be destroyed by any dog. We love the pool and would purchase this pool from Amazon or the owner himself. I have talked personally with the owner and he is a very reputable owner. He cares about his product and donates his pools to humane societies. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the pool. Don't wait to purchase this pool. You will not regret paying the price when the pool arrives.

First, this a great product. Very heavy duty, it should last years if not forever. However, when I received the product, it had absolute no packaging at all. As a result, it was scuffed with black marks and had many other scratches and was extremely dirty. Not that these marks were damaging to the product, but I don't want to put a brand new pool in my backyard next to my own pool when I supposedly was purchasing a new product. The condition I received the product made it look like it was several years old. I had looked at other customer photos and it showed the pool being wrapped in plastic. The manufacturer called me to ask why I was returning the pool, and when I explained the packaging issue, he told me that Amazon was supposed to package it in plastic. On the other hand, I have the Paw Pool and it was packaged in two boxes. Complete overkill. I am disappointed in Amazon here. They should have packaged the pool properly, saving me the aggravation of returning it, not to mention the bad reputation the manufacturer may receive through no fault of their own.
