I also immediately looked up the song behind the Toyota "Move Forward" commercial and was wowed by every single song I could listen to. This group is moving and Kathy, the vocalist, has a lyrical and almost ethereal voice. I love all of the cds including this one and will continue to look for new music.

I can't believe this isn't a more mainstream band. I am sorry I haven't discovered them sooner. I only recently heard their newest song on a toyota commercial and immediately looked them up. She has a distinctly wonderful voice and style. If you haven't heard this or their other albums, start listening now. This music is an essential part of any true music lover's collection.

I first heard of fisher a few years ago while I was watching a show put on from the radio station wbcn 104.1 She did a music video for her song "I will love you" Ever since I first heard her voice I instantly fell in love with her music. She is beautiful, talented and I hope she makes it. With a set of lungs like that she deserves it.

...this is a king of a prequel to the album True North. Don't be surprised, if you have bought True North before, you will be quite familiar with this ONE.
"Every time" is the only song that don't appears on both album.

I heard "I Will Love You" in a movie recently. Given what the movie was about (be the review good or bad about the movie), I had to find this song, which I did. I think the song added to the meaning of the movie.

This one song stands out among all of them and I love it. It is one of the best love songs out there, and I wish it was played more often.

Truly this is is an artist who should be more mainstream than she is.

Beautiful collection of songs. Caught one of Fisher's songs on the Fox network show Bones and was hooked. Had to find out who this group was. This is a super album and Kath Fisher has a voice that is poignant, low, and very soothing. Nice mix of upbeat and ballad songs. Highly recommend.

I haven't heard the rest of this CD, but with that voice, it's bound to be good. My son and bride had this song at their wedding in August of 2002 and it blew everybody away...everyone gets choked up when they listen to it...the singer they had was so good and had that deep, rich voice that Kathy has (but not quite as good!). It couldn't have been better...and I'm happy to say that Fisher was very generous with their lyrics and music...at that time it was downloadable from their website...for free. Fantastic people and to thank them I will buy this CD even though I have True North as well.

my girlfriend and i are absolutely obessed with "i will love you." i can honest say that songs always reminds us why we are together and why we are doing what we are doing. The song is sung with such heart felt voice it would be impossibly not to be moved by the song. The song gives us strength and holds us tightly together.

I discovered Fisher on MP3.com before they had a record deal. She is an exceptionally talented singer and the music is exquisitely arranged. I tend to lean more towards Fred Eaglesmith and Red Clay Ramblers which sounds nothing like this. But Ms Fisher's singing has found a way to fit into my '87 four-wheel drive pickup truck with Fred, Willie P., and Bela.

Remember that song from something like 8 years back that assured the listener that "I will love you, love you....."? This is her. I'm not sure why she faded from the scene, but this CD is great and worth an addition your collection. She's a little white bread, but the clarity of her voice makes up for it.
