Book Description

February 1, 1997
This is a true story. The events described in this book really happened. As you read, you will follow the investigation first-hand as it unfolds into the unknown. You will find first-hand accounts detailing virtually evey type of UFO encounter. You will find simple sightings of stars that move, intelligent fireballs, and unexplainable lights in the sky. You will find sightings of silvery, metallic ships hovering silently, emitting strange beams of light near the frightened witnesses. You will find accounts of spiritual UFOs, UFO contactees, and even Bigfoot encounters. You will find terrifying accounts of confrontations with apparently alien creatures, accounts of abductions aboard alien spacecraft, stories of the government study and cover-up of crashed UFOs and alien bodies, and much, much more. The accounts you will read are guaranteed to invoke curiosity, wonder and perhaps a little fear. They just might open your mind a little - maybe even force you to change your idea of what can actually happen on this innocent-looking planet of ours.

I for one am getting sick and tired of all these so-called Ufologists out there speculating on everything under the sun, in regard to UFOs and extraterrestrials.....If you are too, then this book is for you!

You have to admire Preston Dennett's style. He is a straight-to the-point reporter of facts. If you're looking for the latest specualtion on when the aliens will welcome us into the galactic federation, or how we need to shape up before they come and destroy us, or why the aliens are stealing our babies and creating chimeras with them, then buy something else.

If you want to read about personal encounter experiences, with no fluff or b.s. interjected, or worse yet, shoved in your face, then Mr. Preston Dennett is the author for you.

Bottom line is this:

If your sole interest in UFOs is for their entertainment value, or how much the author can shock you, then get a subscription to the Weekly World News instead of buying some of these wacko books out there--it's cheaper in the long run, and the newspapers will burn better when the Grey's come shut and off our nasty fossil fuel supply.

If, on the other hand, you are interested in researching these things to try to understand what in heck is really going on out there, if you would like to know the truth, if you take these experiences seriously, then this is a great book for you. No totally rediculous, off the wall theories, just the facts.

This book is full of many alien encounter stories that I bet most people have never heard about (which is why i gave it three stars). The author went to a lot of trouble making this book- he must have interviewed everyone he put in the book, which is a lot of people by the way. Every chapter is about a different person's account, the chapters are fairly short(3-8 pages roughly), and there are many chapters. This book reads more like a reference book rather than a gripping non-fiction story such as Communion or something similar, the author just reports the facts/stories.

So, if you wan't to get an overload of fresh alien witness accounts, then this book is for you. Don't expect much of a conlusion or many theories- the author's chapter called "conclusions" is merely just a re-hash of the events in his book assembled into chronological order, however though, he does have a short epologue with some pretty standard hypotheses. Overall, this book is essential for its accounts, but that's about it, there's no groundbreaking assumptions/theories mentioned.
