I love the idea of this book. Doing a good or kind act everyday is wonderful. however, I wish I had a paper copy of this book because it seems like it was mostly intended as a journal. For kindle it translates into not a ton of content. Great idea, but probably better in it's original form.

This is a short, fast read but in this case size doesn't matter: it is filled with numerous, easy-to-do suggestions of making the world a better place. I'm not talking about things that will make you go out of your way, require a lot of extra effort, or cost you a lot of money but small random acts of kindness. It's the small, incremental things that can lay the foundation for an overall better life experience for you and others that can be passed forward to others. I'm almost embarrassed of having to be reminded to do some of these!

I picked this up for free during a Kindle promotion and, as I type this review the cost is back to its normal 99 cents. 99 cents is well worth it and both the recipient and the "doer" will receive multiples of that in intangible value.

Love, love, love this book! I bought three of them - one for me and the others as gifts! The daily goals are doable and one feels like a better person having done them.

I'm not sure what I expected, but I felt there should have been more expression of ideas than just a few simple words on each page. I would like examples of what has been done, not just mottos or slogans we've all heard. I felt it was incomplete.

This is a nicely bound and illustrated book but it really has an identity problem. The editor(s) of this book can't seem to make up their mind about what it really is supposed to accomplish. While there are entries such as "donate blood" that I would definite classify as a good deed, others such as "treat yourself" seem very vague and more like ways to pamper yourself. Some of these things I will never be able to accomplish, as I don't have long hair to donate and I don't use public transportation so I won't be able to leave books behind for others to find.

Some of the entries are downright head-scratching. How is "walk around all day with a bunch of balloons" a good deed? The visit a new art museum entry is a bucket list activity or a self indulgence. Good deeds should be all about helping other people, not doing silly things or things for yourself. By all means pamper yourself but that should be its own book.

I bought this book for myself and once my sister saw it, she loved it so much I had to buy one for her too! It makes you feel so good about yourself after doing the Good Deeds. Some seem kind of difficult to undertake but its cool to see the smiles on people's faces. I will say the only downfall is the commitment.
