Zannou, Cuajo (Juan Manuel Montilla) is 28 years old and struggling with cerebral palsy, which makes it hard for him to walk; he lives in the slums of Barcelona and is looking for a way out. Cuajo's friend Adolfo (Ovono Candela) is a mixed-race outcast who shares his home with his alcoholic father. Both Cuajo and Adolfo dream of making it big in music, and with Cuajo's talent as a rapper, their hopes are not so far fetched. The two have found a space they want to convert into a recording studio, but they don't have the money; selling bootleg videocassettes raises some cash, but a scheme fencing fur coats goes bust. Desperate to get funding, Cuajo and Adolfo turn to some local gangsters who put up the money for the studio, but can they make enough to pay them back before the deadline?
