Editorial Reviews

Review

"...the best in-depth account of racism I have ever read. The book has information that will surprise, if not amaze most readers." --Dr Felix Konotey-Ahulu, Distinguished Professor of Human Genetics, University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

"Carl Wieland's incisive analysis... successfully combines lucid arguments with readable brevity... tackles controversial subjects head-on without being dismissive and is careful to defend his views with solid logic... a persuasive and informative read." --Joe Boot, Senior Pastor, Westminster Chapel Toronto; President, Ezra Institute for Contemporary Christianity.

This book contains a goldmine of information on the problem of racism in society today and in the past. Dr Wieland shows that, for Christians, the Bible condemns racism of all forms because, among other reasons, we are all descendents of Adam and Eve, thus all brothers. If this simple teaching was accepted by Christians the horrible history of racism documented in this work would never have occurred. The problem is most Christens are cultural Christians and, due to Darwinism and other factors, reject the teachings of their faith. Christians are all too often very influenced by their culture and negate the basic teachings of their putative faith. The book is in full color, easy to read, and has a lot of subsections called "Features" all which make book much more interesting. Dr Wieland covers anthropology, history, biology and theology. This would make an excellent textbook for Christian schools or for Sunday school classes. Or just for leisure reading. He also carefully documents the major influence of Darwinism on the whole race problem, quoting from standard sources as well as from Darwin himself.

Really clarifies the causes of racism. Skin color is only a tiny part of the problem. Culture and apparently Darwin's theory of evolution seems to be the main culprit. This book is a very good read with helpful features that clarify tough subjects.

This book's life is just beginning. In time, many, many peoples all over the world will discover this book, and then go to the bible where they will find love, forgiveness, mercy, compassion, and brotherhood (the one Body of Christ). This book should be a "must read" for all christians and non-christians alike. Thank God for Dr. Weiland.
