Jackie Wellwood is warm, vulnerable, and encouraging in this devotional. Her daily topics seem to be just what I needed to hear on a particular day. It's like having a quick phone call from a friend each morning before I start homeschooling. I feel like she understands what I'm going through and yet encourages me to see things from God's perspective. If you buy this book, I recommend reading only one entry per day and savoring it as daily encouragement...can't wait for Jackie to write volume II!

discovering Mrs. Wellwood's devotional has truly enriched my life on a daily basis. We always begin our homeschool day with a children's devotional, but finding a good hands-on devotional written for my particular needs has indeed been a challenge.

101 Devotions for Homeschool Moms is like a breath of fresh air. Each day's lesson is filled with practical advice, powerful insight, and positive focus. This one's a keeper!

I happened on this book some time ago and have read and re-read - I can't wait for her next book - This reminded me of why we homeschool and helped my day to day perspective.

It was a blessing to find someone who understands the special trials and joys of being a homeschool mom. The short devotionals include some questions for thought. Just the right bite sized pieces to help keep me on track.

This devotional really speaks to the heart of a homeschool Mom. I enjoyed each day of the devotional, and reread many days multiple times. I highly recommend it.

As a new Christian Homeschooler, this book has been a tremendous blessing for me. The devotions are short but have so much good advise and thoughts to chew on later on during your day or during quiet time. This book has encouraged me through out this year of homeschooling and has been a wonderful investment for me and my family.

What a blessing this little book is! It inspires with little pick-me-ups on almost every topic. Timeless wisdom.

This is by far my favorite homeschooling mom devotional. I really appreciate the author's vulnerability and honesty, even from the first page. I am new to this homeschooling stuff, and I need all the encouragement I can get. Between this devotional and thatmom.com's podcasts, I feel like I've got the little booster shots I need to get through day after day.

I have a hard time finding real good devotions but this has been my favorite, thus far (I want to buy the second book, too!)

Jackie is just so real and encouraging, who could ask for more? After each devotion she challenges you with questions and prays a prayer (that you can pray/make your own).

Because she is experienced, she can really reach the heart of homeschooling moms because she's been through the challenges I am going through now. She gives sound advice based on that experience.

Gleaning wisdom from experienced women is truly a treasure and not to be taken for granted.

I truly think that if you need encouragement in your home school days, you really need to invest in this book. It will be well worth it.

I got a copy of this from the library and by devotion #3 I knew I had to order it through Amazon.com I love this book! It's really been a big help to me, especially on those days when I am tired, or kids are cranky, or when I have someone make a comment about homeschooling that is negative.
I even read it to my husband and it's encouraged him too.
