I have to admit I'm not a time travel fan, nor do I normally like Scottish Highlander stuff - but I loved this book. There were several really likeable characters, and the unlikeable characters are just as compelling. The main characters were utterly believable and I actually rooted for them! This is my first book from Michelle Miles, but it won't be my last.

Kickass heroine, hot Scottish knight, time travel, blackmail and matchmaking. How can you go wrong with a book that encompasses so many great elements? I thoroughly enjoyed this trip back to a Scottish jousting match and Maggie is a fantastic heroine who I rooted for the whole way. Her spunk made the book even better. I couldn't believe it when she donned Finn's metal armour and took his place in a joust. And her matchmaking added the perfect subplot.

I hope Michelle Miles will write more stories with modern day heroines and time travel. She makes history come alive in a fun and entertaining read.
