Lewis Grizzard was way ahead of his time. He was really the first "blue collar comic" long before Foxworthy,White, Engvall or the Cable Guy. Grizzard's skills as a down home story teller were unmatched and make you feel as if you grew up in Moreland Georgia in the 60's. It is a shame he died at the far too young age of 47 and was not able to deliever us more homespun humor.
