A book I thoroughly enjoyed reading. It is full of various touching stories of people's near-death experiences but also other types of experiences that most people would deem impossible. Very impressive. It has helped me relieve some of my fear of death.

A glimpse at the great adventure that awaits us at the end of this earth-journey. Wonderful and glorious.

As far as NDE's are concerned, this is the book to get! Very interesting real life stories about NDE's and so much more! What a great author! I've read a lot of books on NDE's and this has to be one of the best ones I've read yet! Get it while you still can!

When I was fresh into the whole field of the afterlife, the main names were Raymond Moody, Kulber-Ross, and Hans Holzer. To me Brad Steiger was just one of those guys trying to make money on the side. Then I actually read one of his books, this being the one, and it changed me forever. Now I am an avid Steiger reader and have multiple books of his including his gigantic Restless Ghosts book, which is next to Hans Holzer's "Ghosts" as the biggest ghost book ever written.

This book, which is for the open minded, is about cases of Near-Death Experiences. I'm not sure but I believe 8/10ths of these come from Steiger's files. I noticed that if they didn't say "This is from my file" then he was usually using a citation such as "Nature magazine, 1971". Packed into this book are about 40 experiences where people met Jesus or family members on the other side. It is NOT a Christian book as in this book Jesus clearly says to many people who visit him that they must stop looking at religion and start looking at love (hence why some Christian person gave it a 1 star review. They can't handle it).

I chowed through this book and absolutely love it. It's my favorite Near-Death Experience book by far, and I have read Raymond Moody books!

The 1 star review is of a woman who says that this is really the devil meeting us on the other side and that he is trying to get us to go to Hell. Let me say this clearly: If the Devil is trying to convince us that the other side is love and peace but in reality God is not love and peace but rather a Bible thumper, then I want to be the first person in line to go to Hell, as I refuse to worship a tyrannical god.

As a Christian who totally believes in Jesus and the Bible, I view this book with much skepticism. Everyone saw the light, even an atheist!?!?!? I don't think this is the real thing. Also, how come no one experienced a journey towards hell? Obviously, these people experience this, but it's not real journeys after death. The Bible states that near the end of days, men would dream dreams and have visions. I think this is a dillusion imparted by Satan so that everyone will think they're going to heaven no matter what or hallucinatory. I have no other explanation if one is to really believe the Bible. So everyone is going to heaven and no one to hell? Hm . . I guess Hitler, Moussalini and everyone will get to heaven. This book is garbage. I gave it one star because I had to. Not worth the money, at least for any serious Christian. I am very very disappointed to say the least.
