Blue just keep getting better and better!,
By
This review is from: One Love (Audio CD)
Blue have come a long way since "All Rise" their debut album released in November 2001. Now in December 2002, they have another album "One Love", under their belts. This album hit #1 in the UK instantly, and is currently #2. This album is better then "All Rise", because it has more tracks and the guys helped write more of the songs. The stand out tracks are:4. Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word (featuring Elton John) - A beautiful ballad with great vocals from all 4 guys. Elton John gets his two cents too, and helps out at the end of the song. This is a UK #1 hit. The other songs are great too, but those are the stand out tracks in my opinion. If you liked "All Rise", definitely get "One Love", it's more of the same funky groovy songs that Blue are famous for!

Great sound - but All rise was better,
This review is from: One Love (Audio CD)
Despite the fact that Lee voice makes every gurl cry her eyes out and Dunk's smile makes every gurl weak in the knees, the sound of All rise was better. This was just fall-into-the-back-of-the-shelf-after-a-couple-of-weex CD, while All rise's lyrics totally absorbed you in. A few good songs, (nothing to dance to that much) like One love, Flexin', U make me wanna, Supersexual, Privacy and Without you. The rest get really, really boring. All in all, a very good album, just didn't live up to my standards. Luking forward to new single, Guilty as well as new album. :) Still luv ya, Blue!!!

In a time when American music is not very appealing, we can turn to the Brit Pop scene and find a gem: Blue. The album has a number of fantastic songs that appeal to the over 20 crowd with some catchy lyrics, harmonies, and words you can understand!I miss some of the great harmonies that were create by Backstreet Boys and NSync...okay, don't want to admit you ever liked these guys? Shame. They made some great music and this group comes along with more mature voices and does them one better.

Good Album, but not as good as all rise,

I actually have all the 3 albums from blue...and to compare, personally I feel that this album is not as good as guilty and all rise. The boys tried a couple of new sounds as well as sticking to their trademark RnB. Well, some failed but some was quite marvellous. One very unique track is Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word. This track, with Elton John as the featuring artist, was captivating. Other tracks such as U make me wanna, one love, riders, piracy and she told me are pretty good as well. This album is also a must get, although it is not as good as their debut and their thrid album. Another disappointing this is that they actually recorded a mandarin version of u make me wanna with taiwan artist elvia hsiao but it did not appear on this album, which is kind of sad. Still however, it is a good album to get.

Great British Pop,

This is a great pop album and they are not just another boys group. I think the success of the Blue All Rise album was validated with One Love. Blue is for real, I'm waiting for the next one.Buy the CD or download the songs.

This cd will be #1 in us at sometime,

I heard this album in thailand. I was in a disco with 3000 other people and it seemed like everyone was singing along. It is hard to describe accurately (sort of boy band meets hip hop meets disco?)I have played this for several people and everyone loved it and wanted to know where they could buy it. That included people in their teens, 20's, 30s, 40, and 50s. I haven't found one person that didn't like it. When US stations finally start playing these songs several of these will make it to the top 5.some people like one love, others the cover of Elton John, and so on. There is a good reason this album went to #1 in the UK. And it will in the states as well. I just wish I could buy stock in this group.

It's not as good as their first album 'All Rise'.The only track that stands out are 'one love' which is not up to standard as 'All Rise' and 'Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word'.If you have enough money to buy one cd,make sure you don't buy this cd!It's a complete waste of money. You will regret buying this cd.

Boy bands come and boy bands go, they look the same, they sound the same, and this is no exception. The only worthy boy bands were the Jackson 5 and the Beatles. These guys don't even have the talent as performers that groups like Take That and the Backstreet Boys did and do. Waste of time and money.
