5.0 out of 5 stars Just One Of Those Must-Have Albums, May 26, 2001

Tess, formerly known as Sweden's popular act, La Cream, makes an extremely impressive solo debut with this exceptional album. "One Love To Justify" is a supreme tour-de-force for Tess, and is an example of a perfect Euro-dance album. She smartly lays off any attempts at a ballad, and just goes for sheer, unadulterated dance. This Swedish produced record has an unstoppable energy and even the mediocre songs rock. Tess doesn't veer too far off from the type of songs she sang while known as La Cream. The "One Love To Justify" album is a combination of La Cream and E-Type, with emphasis on the former. The superior song on this album is the beautiful, powerful Euro-gem ONE LOVE(#2). Kicking this record off with that tune was a brilliant move. Other outstanding tracks are STAY(#5), IN MY DREAMS(#6), GET THE NEWS(#7) and STORY OF MY LIFE(#10). All songs exude the same dancefloor aura, while relying on a pure pop sensibility. I very rarely find flawless albums - in fact, I can't think of any off the top of my head; however, this would most definitely be one. Let's hope that this is not all we hear from Tess - truly a remarkable Euro-dance project!

What a great CD! I recently fell in love with both of Tess's recent singles..."The Second You Sleep" and "Breathless." Then, searching Amazon for more, I discovered this album from a previous year. It's a wonderful find if you are a fan of her recent hits. Every track is a winner.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Dance/Trance/Pop from Sweden, August 17, 2002

This is a true modern music masterpiece. If you like upbeat music with GREAT MELODIES and POWERFUL VOCALS then this album is definitely for you.

I would recommend this album to anyone who likes ACE OF BASE's "The Sign" album. It is very simlar, except this album has more Trance sound in it.

All tracks, except one, are powerful EURODANCE/TRANCE productions with very good and distinct melodies. There is also a very beautiful SLOW song #4 (Viva L'Amor). It has an Extremely BEAUTIFUL melodie, that any fan of Ace of Base (or Swedish pop music in general) will surely adore.

Track #11 is more of an instrumental Techno/Trance number. Very upbeat, and club-oriented tune.

This album is an AWESOME addition to ANY good CD collection. It has mass appeal, and anyone should enjoy it.
