One man's humorous account of his fight with an embarrassing disease, will also help spread awareness of testicular cancer.In the first pages, the author acknowledges that cancer is no laughing matter, at the same time reminding us that laughter is good medicine. In the same spirit, he warns that some might be offended by his brash sense of humor. This only makes us want to read more, and he quickly delivers. This book is filled with his jolly, daring jocularity, taking us with him to his doctor's appointments, his treatments, his thoughts about his manhood, his family, his place in the world. We chuckle with him all the way to the introspective end of this book, where he easily guides us into the experience of his own parents' lost battle with cancer, the one chapter that has us reaching for a tissue to wipe the tears. We all relate to this chapter on some level, but we're glad to be there with the author's fond sentiments.
