A Kid's Review
This review is from: One Man's Horse (Library Binding)
This is the original "Born to Trot" title. "One Man's Horse" is sad when the boy comes home and discovers that his filly has bonded with his Dad. It's a good read if your in a car for a long time/ on a plane trip.

5.0 out of 5 stars The great Hambletonian!, July 13, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: One Man's Horse (Hardcover)
One Man's Horse is a story within a story. It is about a sick boy who picks up a book and begins to read it. The book is about Hambletonian, the foundation sire of the standardbred. This is his story of how he went from an ordinary colt to a champion harness racer. Henry tells an extrordinary story. I would recomend any of her books to a horse lover.
