Marlene Carter really knows how to capture an audience and hold their attention, and she does a great job of it in "One Million to Die For". The characters are so well formed you feel as though you know them as friends and neighbors, and you can't help but get caught up in the thrill and suspense, not to mention the romance, that the book exudes. This is the kind of book that keeps you coming back for more, because you can't wait to hear what's going to happen next with all the characters and all the various storylines that are interlaced so smoothly within the main plot. I hope we'll see more books like this from Ms. Carter!

The author really keeps you on the edge of your seat with this one. The plot wasn't so far fetched that you felt that you were reading a story, it was something that could happen! The realistic plot and character development makes this a must-read!

Marlene Carter did a wonderful job developing her characters. I felt as they were friends of mine. She knows how to keep the reader interested, I read the book in one sitting. She knows how to keep her readers wanting more.

This is a really good book full of action that is fast-paced. The author keeps you on the edge of your seat in anticipation of upcoming events. The book is an easy read that will keep you reading and wanting more.
