Great stuff held within
Get this whether your a manager or not. very helpful ideas on how to deal with people you interact with everyday even your kids.

Good book but poor recording
While the content of the book is good, the recording is not. The recording volume is extremely low. On some CD players it is possible to crank up the volume almost all the way to hear it clear enough. However, on some premium sound systems (e.g. in my car) that prevent distortion of the sound I just can't increase the vol. to a decent setting that will let me listen to...

I read/listened to this book during my first month after being promoted to a supervisor. The tips in it helped me to transition to my new role. The system is tried, true and rational but its not so simple that its a waste of money. Further, the insight into human nature that it provided is helpful in all roles in the workplace (and outside of it).
