4.0 out of 5 stars Procrastinating about Exercise? This is Worth Buying, May 7, 2009
By
This review is from: The One Minute Workout: Real Deal Fitness and Nutrition (Spiral-bound)
Most of us would exercise if we had a personal trainer telling us what to do as we exercised. Well, we can't all afford personal trainers, but we can afford this book. It's organized into novice, intermediate and advanced. And each section is organized into clear directions for what to do each day. "Do this for one minute. Then do this for one minute," etc.

This is a great book if you've been intimidated by other exercise programs that start off with "beginner" workouts of a half hour and then after a week, increase you to full-on cardio and strength for an hour at a time. Those books, we put aside with a defeated sigh and think, for the millionth time, that exercising is something "other people" can do, not wimpy us. Not this book. This book you can stick with.

If you've been "meaning to get around" to starting to exercise, this is a great way to kick-start yourself. The spiral-bound book is a great idea, because it lies flat. If you want to get more involved, you can also follow their excellent, but somewhat complex, nutrition advice. Or not. The book meets you at whatever level you're on. Well worth buying.
