The Shake It label has done the world of vintage R&B/SOUL a great service by FINALLY
tracking down all these sides and lovingly crafting them into a single brilliant disc.
Kenny's a Curtis Matyfield who never caught a break. Thank god he kept at it, always writing,
plugging away, with a pure talent that's a true rarity. The shear breath of his material is staggering.
A must have for any serious music library.

finally picked this up at Shake It over the holiday, this is up there with my favorite reissues of the year. A year ago it would have cost you several thousands of dollars to get all these tunes, but now they can be yours for under $20. By the way, if anyone's got a spare of the "Skunkie" 45 they're looking to get rid of, get in touch!
