This is a pretty good compilation with some new acustic versions of Whitecross clasic songs; however, Whitecross wasn't the same after Rex Caroll (guitar) left the band. The guitarist who replaced Rex, Barry Graul, did a good job in "Equilibrium." But their last guitarist, Quinton Gibson, forgot what Whitecross was all about. The good times where when Rex was around and play his guitar on albums like "Triumphant Return" and "In The Kingdom." With Quiton Gibson Withecross lost its identity and style. "One More Encore" is a good compilation, but I will have to give it 4 stars because it just has song since 1994 (whitout Rex) and only one from 1991. Since Rex left, Whitecross coudn't get another hit album like "In The Kingdom." Rex, Where are you? Please come back!

As most of you know by now, this is Whitecross without Rex Carroll, so don't expect any hard rockers like "Holy War" or "Red Light" in this compilation. "One More Encore" is the greatest hits of the post-Rex years, including the albums "Unveiled", "Equilibrium", and "Flytrap." Even though Rex was missing from these recordings, there are still good songs on these three albums, but many of them are missing from this "greatest hits" compilation.

To start out, I don't own this cd but I do know all the songs with the exception of the bonus version of "No Second Chances." The song "King of Angels", which appeared on Unveiled, is arguably Whitcross's best post-Rex era song; I cannot believe that it's not on here. Also "Salt City" and "No Other Love" were really good songs from Unveiled, oddly not featured on this set.

"Equilibrium" is by far my least favorite Whitecross cd because it has no catchy songs; it's just kinda loud grunge. However, "Full Crucifixion" is ok and probably has the right to be on here and it is. But anything else from Equilibrium -- "Fallen", "Collide", and "Faraway Places" -- definitely should not be on here.

Now "Flytrap" was probably my favorite of the three albums; this cd had some kicking guitar riffs and some good hooks. However, three classic Whitecross rockers on Flytrap -- "Get Real", "When He Comes", and "To My Suprise" -- are not on One More Encore!

There are some decent songs on One More Encore, but all in all it's a hideous compilation. I was very generous in giving this 3 stars; I only did it because I'm a huge fan of Whitecross. I seriously recommend that you buy all three original copies of "Unveiled", "Flytrap", and even "Equilibrium" instead of this because its simply not worth it to get a greatest hits compilation missing that many songs. I strongly advise that you do not purchase the Mega 3 Collection because whoever the idiot was that came up with that stuck One More Encore in there instead of Flytrap. Trust a diehard Whitecross fan on this one -- purchase all three separately and enjoy all three of them fully.
