5.0 out of 5 stars The many sides of Dale Watson
With all due respect to our other review, this cd is fantastic. Yes, it's different. Recorded in 2003, it's not just traditional country Dale. This is Texas western swing taking a page from the Bob Wills page and letting Dale do his own thing with complete abandon. It hips, it hops, it jazzes, it's funny and it screams! Great stuff.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sorry Dale...
First i have to tell that i'm a great Dale Watson fan. I think he is the real thing in country-music. When i listened to this CD i went: «what the hell...» now Dale Watson thinks is a crooner!!!
The music is well played but this isn't the real Dale Watson. As himself uses to say: «If this is country you can kiss my####»!
Please buddy return to what you do...

5.0 out of 5 stars Dale Watson Country Swing Album, January 7, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I discovered Dale Watsons music when I was looking for a Honky Tonk Album. Never heard of this great musician before. His style of country music is very traditional and with proper recognization and exposure in the country western field will no doubt be amoung the greats like Merle Haggard, Ray Price, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Asleep At The Wheel, Brooks And Dunn, Mickey Gilley, George Jones, Conway Twitty, etc..... The varity of songs on this album allows individuals to slow dance, do the two step, and do the country western swing along with just enjoying the listening of professional country music sung by the up coming star Dale Watson. What a great voice!

5.0 out of 5 stars Dale Watson - One More Once More, July 6, 2009

This album swings from start to finish. Texas Swing, it's the best there is. Dale's cover of Hank William's You Win Again is a masterpiece. All the tracks are fantastic, it is a stellar project. Break out your dancing shoes!

Please buddy return to what you do best, forget the swing, forget the jazz and give us good old Honky Tonk Music.
