4.0 out of 5 stars Keep Looking for "Plug Me Into Something
There are many great songs on this "Best of..." collection but I highly recommend taking the time to find a copy of "Plug Me Into Something." I listened to the album back in the early 70's over and over until it wore out. I was a young, crazy man working in Wyoming with not much money. My friend recommended this album to rock away our "young...

2.0 out of 5 stars A couple of good tunes.
A sad version of The Best Of Henry Gross. Without the great tunes like Southern Band & Dixie Spiderman all you can look forward to are Tomorrows Memory Lane and One More Tomorrow. Plus the song All My Love.

There are many great songs on this "Best of..." collection but I highly recommend taking the time to find a copy of "Plug Me Into Something." I listened to the album back in the early 70's over and over until it wore out. I was a young, crazy man working in Wyoming with not much money. My friend recommended this album to rock away our "young man blues." While I keep looking for a CD of this record I'm not sure any were printed. With the first guitar lead into "One More Tomorrow," that album saved my sanity in the summer of 74. I've begun to gather all the old music that I enjoyed in the 60's and 70's on CD and this album, along with Ted Nugent's, "Survival of the Fittest," are nearly impossible to find. But as long as I can hear Henry Gross' guitar in my head, I will keep looking.

This is missing some of the best stuff, but I really recomend it anyway. The reason some are not here, is that the record company will not release the music to him to reproduce. :-(

3.0 out of 5 stars Missing the Best!, March 27, 1999
This review is from: One More Tomorrow: The Best of Henry Gross (Audio CD)
I have been a Henry Gross fan for a long time. The Best Album of all time "Plug me in to Something". Gross rocks on this one. I'm baffled as to why Southern Band and Dixie Spiderman were not on "Best of". If these songs were on "Best of" I would have given 5 stars, Sorry Henry.

I bought "Plug Me Into Something" from a local record store a long time ago, that specialized in import CD's. It was manufactured by Pony Canyon Inc. Japan 1975, with the catalog number PCCY-10074. Same artwork as original album with all 10 killer songs. Best $15 I ever spent. Would love to find Henry's song "Sweet Sassafrass". Been looking online for it, and can't find album it was on.

2.0 out of 5 stars A joke, April 1, 2005
This review is from: One More Tomorrow: The Best of Henry Gross (Audio CD)
Waste of money because it's missing Travelin' Time, Dixie Spiderman, Southern band, One More Tomorrow and Evergreen from the Plug Me Into Something album. This compilation only has 2 songs from the 10 on the Plug Me... masterpiece.

Henry was the lead in act for Fleetwood Mac at an outdoor concert. I had never heard him before. I have never been so entertained by one person on stage before. He had racks full of instruments of all types, he would play one, set it down and pick up another and play it. When he left stage, the crowd was in a frenzy. Fleetwood mac was anticlimactic after his performance. He stole the show. I ran right out and purchased "Plug me into something". I still have the vinyl album, but it doesn't fit into my CD player, where is the CD?

If anyone has any info or can make a copy off their album , please contact me . I'm talking about plug me in , not this album I've never heard .
