Midnight Oil fans will appreciate the scene in which the four main characters attend a concert. The band performs "Short Memory".

They must confront both their own relationships, and the imminent collapse of civilization, as they wait to learn whether the war will escalate and engulf them as well. The dialogue is mostly superficial, but the acting is very good. Unfortunately this film is very hard to find.
