5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!!
Never having heard of these 'mates' from Australia before seeing them on QVC, I was completely enthralled by their voices, charm and variety. I made haste to buy this collection of songs, etc, and love it even more than I thought I would from the sampling. Their harmonies, full-bodies voices and amazing variety of types of music is inspiring and uplifting. If you enjoy...

3.0 out of 5 stars Ten Tenors are entertaining ten fold
This CD doesn't do justice to the entertaining live shows these Aussie crooners put on. The Ten Tenors are about showmanship as they are about a singing ensemble, yet there's no denying the powerful vocal presence on 'One Is Not Enough'. Generally classified as adult-contemporary, the tenors are accompanied by a lush backing orchestra and grandiose production. Each...

Each possess gifted voices, and as a unit straddle one-part opera tenors, one-part church choir, and one-part lounge/theater act. Individually much in the same vein as Tom Jones, Neil Diamond, or Barry Manilow, singers who combine power with an impressive vocal range. Collectively the vocals are inspirational and enlightening, and combined with Andrew Lloyd Webber type arrangements, it makes this recording that much more divine. Easy listening as it is joyous if you like choruses raised in song.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!, May 27, 2003

For any musical theatre lovers, you MUST pick up this CD!! Not only are all 10 of these tenors extraordinarily gifted in their vocal range, but their performance just puts the icing on the cake. 3 cheers for the ten tenors!! An incredible combination of performance art, harmonious voices, and flawless parody performing hit covers like Dancing Queen & Bohemian Rhapsody . I absolutely loved their show in Jacksonville! Go check these Aussies out if you get the chance.

I have been following The Ten Tenors since I saw them years ago on PBS. I have been to several of their concerts here in the states and let me just say that they are amazing. Every time I see them on stage in that first moment the air just whoosh's out of my lungs and my heart quickens. The talent is just outstanding...breathless. Out of all of their CD's (I have them all) this is probably my favorite (not that I don't like them all). However, this particular CD has popular music (from various eras on it) it is not one of their classical or operatic albums. If you are looking for that try: Here's to the Heroes, Tenology, or Larger than Life (They are all good as well). I personally can't wait for their next release or concert.
