This 2CD set compiles some great, rare live recordings from the listed artists in their prime, from the 60's thru the 80's. The sound quality is also excellent. Many of these performances are not "straight reads" of studio album tracks, but interesting, unique versions.

"Sultans Of Swing" is the best one here, and U2 is good too. But miss R.E.M and B.Springsteen, there is better songs of Depeche Mode to put in on this record, anyway many good songs here. But it's better do buy the dire straits , and u2 albums, or others. Instead of this compilation. adios

This limited album is one of Dire Straits'finest. For the fan this album might be a lot like the same, but for the average listener this album will give all that they need to hear from Dire Straits to realise what impact this band had on the world of music.
