4.0 out of 5 stars Fun, obscure music
Okay, so the guy was a one hit wonder. Furthermore, he was a one hit wonder, whose one hit only played for a period of about three weeks when I was in fourth grade. But at that time I ran out and bought the tape and loved it and listened to it, so now this is an important part of the soundtrack of my life so far. You have to get this for "One & Only." This was released during the time "King of Wishful Thinking" was released by another group. I think the two songs are of a similar style.

But at that time I ran out and bought the tape and loved it and listened to it, so now this is an important part of the soundtrack of my life so far. And pretty much my sister and I are the only people who even recognize "The One and Only" (his aforementioned hit). But it's fun and bouncy, and I recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for a one hitter...., January 29, 2010

The song One and Only was my original reason to pick it up, but the CD spent quite a bit of time in the car, saying a lot for a one hitter. Needless to say, if you've seen Doc Hollywood, then you know this song pretty well, and yes, got the movie too. Not a bad little CD, even if he does look like the Jonas brother of the 80s.....

4.0 out of 5 stars he might have been a one hit wonder, but I still liked him., November 18, 2009
This review is from: One & Only (Audio CD)
When i first seen him, I haven't thought much about him. I started to develope a crush on and listen to his song 'the one and only'raising up and than down the charts. I bought his only record released in US and I have no regrets. The songs are bouncing and catching and kept listening it in my walkman . IMO he's definitely a very talented singer/songwriter which shouldn't be suprising since he's son of Chip Hawkes from the 60's pop band the Trembleloens, I think. Don't know much about them. For what I could gather he made a film with Roger Daltrey of The Who called 'Buddy's Song", which I heard did alright in the U.K.
