Product Description

Monkey D. Luffy refuses to let anyone or anything stand in the way of his quest to become King of All Pirates. With a course charted for the treacherous waters of the Grand Line, this is one captain who'll never drop anchor until he's claimed the greatest treasure on Earth: the Legendary One Piece! Along for the ride are his loyal crewmates, a wonderfully-bizarre collection of outcasts and misfits from the far corners of the world. Each member has their own special talent, and they'll utilize their skills to help Luffy achieve his dream! Together, the rubberman and his crew can conquer any challenge - or defeat any foe!

The filmmakers join Luffy in revving the action into third gear in a series of battles that brings the "Enies Lobby" arc of One Piece to a slam-bang conclusion. Zoro assumes the multi-faced, multi-armed appearance of an Asura, a minor deity in Hindu and some Buddhist mythologies, to defeat Kaku and obtain the last of the keys that can unlock Robin's handcuffs. Nami, Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp, joined by Granny Kokoro, Chimney, and an unconscious Chopper, flee through the tunnels of Enies Lobby. Lucci lets the sea come roaring in and all looks lost--until a mysterious mermaid rescues them. The Marine fleet that Spandam inadvertently summoned begins its bombardment, reducing the towers of the prison-fortress to rubble. But these explosions and escapes are secondary to the duel between Lucci and Luffy. The attacks grow more fantastic as the battle escalates. Robin snaps the odious Spandam's back and Luffy finally takes Lucci out, enabling the Straw Hats to escape on the Going Merry. Granny carries the Franky Family to safety on the Puffing Tom. But the bombardments and flight prove too much for the already badly damaged Going Merry. Luffy and his reunited crew bid a tearful farewell to their beloved ship before setting out for Water Island and a new adventure. Although these episodes deliver plenty of action, they feel a bit padded. Too many episodes feature the same flashbacks of the destruction of Robin's childhood home of Ohara, and the third "Boss Luffy" special (episode 303) stops the narrative in its tracks. But One Piece fans have waited a long time for the defeat of Spandam, and this set gives them just what they've wanted. (Rated TV 14: cartoon violence, violence against women, minor risqué humor, alcohol and tobacco use) --Charles Solomon

Can't everyone yell One Piece?!

There isn't much more I can say except... YAHOO!!!!

We are coming down to the end of the Impel Down Saga although we aren't quite finished. With out giving away any spoiler's for those who wait until the DVD releases (such as I), then you are in for a great ending. With only one VOYAGE left in this season, you will greatly enjoy how this one ends.
