4.0 out of 5 stars I won't die-- I'll come back stronger, March 25, 2008
This review is from: One Piece, Vol. 8: I Won't Die (Paperback)
Eiichiro Oda, One Piece: I Won't Die (ViZ, 1998)

One Piece gets back on track with (finally!) the ending of the Don Krieg battle and us getting back to the rest of the story. We get back in touch with Zoro and Usopp, who have gone chasing after Nami. Unfortunately, when they finally do track her down, they find themselves in somewhat hotter water than they bargained for. Great to see the books getting back to the original storyline, and I'm looking forward to the next batch. ****

5.0 out of 5 stars One Piece#8, August 6, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

This is one of the series the kids love that reads from right to left instead of the usual left to right US books. Kids loved it. Luffy fights Don Krieg.

5.0 out of 5 stars 123billion stars!!!!, December 28, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: One Piece, Vol. 8: I Won't Die (Paperback)
I rate this manga 123billion stars! Luffy is a good role model because he never gives up. He always helps is friends. He is kinda oblivious though...... But that is ok. It is so well written and drawn. It is amazing that someone acually drew that and wrote it. It has an amazing plot. You wont want to put it down! After reaading the first one, I needed the others.
Luffy wants to be king of the pirates, he has the power of the gum gum fruit which enables the user to strech his limbs. He is a goofy, oblivious, silly, pirate. His dream is to be king of the pirates but its gonna be hard with his crew.
