All I can say is W.O.W. MJB is no joke. I don't know what she does to get inspired. But this song is....I don't know how to explain it. All I can say is I had to listen to the song while I wrote this review. Gone with yo bad self.
M. J. B.!!! gone girl!!!

I realize that as a marketing ploy to get a younger, "hipper" audience, a rap must be included in releases by most pop or R & B singers today, the one by Drake just doesn't cut it. As I listened repeatedly to the track, I kept wondering, "How did he get a recording contract?"
Hopefully, Mary's upcoming album will be worth it...and I'm sure it will be.

I love this song as performed by U2 (it's one of my all-time faves) but MJB's version gave me chills the first time I heard it. When she sings this song, SHE owns it.

Thhere are often times where a good song doesn't absolutely deliver where it is performed by another artists. FOr Mary J. Blige, she has had some good collaborations like As with George Michael, and Ain't No Way with Whitney Houston at the VH1 Divas Live '99 concert. While those were good performances, her latest collabopration with U2 on a rendidtion of their universal track One doesn't have the simplistic feeling Bono and company made back in 1991. Although the track is fair, it just doesn't feel as strong. Although Mary does have a good voice, she just misses out on this collaboration.
