Amazing singer-songwriter; her best work yet., April 22, 2005

Even though her live shows are the best way to appreciate everything she has to offer, the CD is still a great way to hear some cool modern country music on the way to work, or whenever. You can't quite peg her or the music ... although the roots are clearly country, she also brings in elements from other sorts to spice things up a bit. She's an extremely energetic and dynamic person and it comes through in her performances.
The CD is packed with great songs; it's not just "one or two good ones" like most CDs out there.
I'm not from the South or a country music fan but her CD is addictive ... you'll be humming the songs at work in no time!
