Spunky, funny, tough and tender in one, February 27, 2001

This is my favorite Cosy album, because it's some of her best stuff along with a live style. She can be devilishly irreverent ("The Mustang Ranch" "Waldo's Lament") and amazingly insightful into the issues of wounded inner children ("Allies") while still celebrating ("Walk into Heaven") all in the same concert. I recommend this to all new age folkies.

Cosy Sheridan provides her fans with a refreshing, in-your-face-this-is-me-like-it-or-hate-it attitude in each of her albums. It's so nice to hear someone sing about feminine ideals in a way that we can laugh, but also see the reality of the situation. Keep speaking, Cosy, 'cause we're listening!

Though Quietly Led is my favorite Sheridan CD this is probably #2 for me. She sounds great on this CD. It makes me really want to catch her show live, it sounds like a great time.
