At its heart, One Take Only is a love story. It's the love story between a lowly drug dealer and a young prostitute. The tone of the movie is between comedy and drama. There are moments of laugh-out loud and then of sadness. The two leads are likeable even though the female lead looked like a little kid.

This is Oxide Pang's earlier movie so it was not as polished as later ones. But I found it to be affecting maybe because I'm Asian. See it.
