This book is full of false or misleading appearances, twists and turns, and just all out "different" characters. You have names that aren't really the person's names or nicknames that are nowhere near that person's name, a murder that needs to be solved, attempted murder(s) to prevent, childhood sweethearts (?), childhood friends, well described emotions, unrequited love(?), a look at a "somewhat different" thought process, self-worth issues, dramatic secrets from left field ... whew. This is a nice best-friends-grew-up-together-/-can-we-be-more, opposites-attract romance combined with a twist and turn suspense. |
