I purchased this recording after watching the PBS series "The Blues". I had heard blues guitar before but when I heard JB's voice and idiosyncratic playing I knew here was someone special. Lenoir is fairly underrated and a lesser known Blues man. This is a shame because in the short time that he recorded JB left us with some of the most intense and lovable blues music. He has his own style both in playing and singing. The guitar playing is often subtle, but rythmically impeccable...First rate acoustic guitar playing. His melodies are original and catchy. Most of all their is a silent fire burning in this music..characteristic of only the best acoustic Bluesmen. R.I.P JB Lenoir

JB Lenoir is one the best blues guitarist/singer ever. His recordings are hard to find. I have one on vinyl. I could get alot money for it, but won't part with it in my life time. I love this CD, and am sure any blues fan will love it to.............PEACE
