This book was recommended (along with "Nothing to Do" by Douglas Wood) by a very well-respected educator in New York City. It's so simple yet so poignant. There's a lot in it that my 7-year-old daughter can relate to therefore triggering a lot of meaningful discussions while we're reading it.

Don't let its simplicity fool you. Just because it's an easy read doesn't make it unworthy for slightly older children. It's a very comforting and thought provoking book, thus a good book to own and go back to from time to time.

This book is great for my 4 year old. Very cute and a very easy quick read. Its especially good for those nights when theres not enough time for a long book :). And nice for when the kids have had a bit of a rough day.

I got this book for my 7 year old daughter thinking she would like it and I was right. She loves it and we read it quite a few times the first day we had it home. She thinks it is so funny and of course we can all relate to having a bad day. I would highly recommend this book for a fun pick me up for just about any age under 12.

My kids love this book. When they are feeling blue, it always cheers them up!

This is really a good little book. It shows children that they are not alone in their feelings and frustrations. The only criticism I have is that one of the days was a bad sibling day and I don't know how many toddlers know what a sibling is. I guess it's an opportunity to learn a new word. Also, the story is told by a girl. It would have been nice if it included some days with boys having a bad day.

As a school counselor, sometimes I notice kids walking around school in sort of a slump. This book has helped me as a counselor immensely to reach out to those students. Just like adults, kids sometimes have really hard days too. One of Those Days comforts and validates children. I love to say to kids, 'Hey, looks like you are having one of those days.' They know exactly what I am talking about because we are using a phrase that we know and have learned about. So how do we cope when we have one of those days? It's been a very thought provoking book when we read and discuss it. I highly recommend it for your shelf.

A fun book for both children and adults! Uplifting reminders that life happens to everyone. A great read aloud to little ones who question why things always happen to them.

I purchased this book and others by these authors for my granddaughter who is going to be a lower elementary teacher. She loves them and can't wait to use them in the classroom.

What a nice little book. I read it to my kids on "those" kinds of days.
