Three's A Crowd..., October 12, 2009

The main characters in ONE + ONE = THREE are in a polyamorous relationship. Rock and Dirk share their love, sensuality and commitment with Munroe. This unconventional relationship works for the three of them and they each enjoy its benefits. Their relationship is not to be confused with a ménage a trios, because the men only have sex with Munroe; she reaps the benefit of two loving men who cater to her. Rock is being pursued by his past and he doesn't want to jeopardize his relationship. Dirk, on the other hand, is starting to question his polyamorous relationship, although it is fulfilling, he wants more and he hopes Munroe does as well. Munroe has started her second career as owner of an upscale lounge after retiring from a successful modeling career. From opening night it seems her bar is going to be a success, but with each day, some kind of problem or suspicious incident occurs. Could someone be trying to sabotage her dream? ONE + ONE = THREE has the outline for an interesting story. The author uses flashbacks to give readers an insight into the motivations of the main characters; unfortunately it didn't enhance the depth of the characters that seemed to be flat. I could not care about the characters at all. The story was predictable and when the suspenseful climax occurred, it was truly disappointing. The definition of a polyamorous relationship would have you believe the sensual portion of the relationship would be erotic and stimulating, but for the most part they weren't and with the use of words like "hammering" sensuality was not important. Although there is enough suspense to keep you reading, the plot was rushed, as well as the more amorous scenes. The minor characters didn't add enough profundity towards the story, nor did the subplots; in fact, one was left hanging. A Stunning Debut by Sasha James!, October 19, 2009

Munro Sheridan is a former model who decided to retire from the business at the ripe age of thirty. She's moving on to bigger and better things by opening an upscale lounge called Strutt. Munro's lounge is becoming the talk of the A-list crowd and is widely successful. But when unexplained occurrences at the club keep happening, Munro thinks someone is trying to sabotage her. Her personal life is wonderful thanks to her polyamory relationship that she has with Rock and Dirk. Things are going well for the three of them as they have a mentally and sexually satisfying relationship. But when Rock's past comes back to haunt him, and Dirk starts to long for a more committed relationship, Munro's life could become a little rocky. One + One = Three is a stunning debut novel by Sasha James. James takes readers into the world of polyamory relationships. Munro, Rock, and Dirk are very complex and interesting characters that can become potential fan favorites. This story has a healthy dose of eroticism with a splash romance that makes this an entertaining story. There's also a bit of suspense thrown into the mix that adds just the right amount of intrigue. One + One = Three is more heavy on the erotic side of romance and is not a traditional romance, so be forewarned. One + One = Three is a wild, titillating novel that is a great entry into the erotic romance genre and will have you anticipating her next book Two + One = Ecstasy. fascinating Manhattan ménage a trois, August 5, 2009

She was born Margaret Smith in a small Michigan town; however she took the name Munro Sheridan when she became a fashion model. While performing, she never thought of what comes after though she planned to retire at thirty, which she does to the shock of everyone as the towering exotic beauty still has several great years if she has chosen to stay. Rockmon "Rock" Phillips has been Munro's friend from her Margaret elementary school days. They remained close and have shared some heated trysts over the years. Rock met and became friends with Dirk Baptiste when they both lived and played in London. Back in New York Rock and Munro take off where they left off; but this time Dirk has joined them setting up a ménage a trois. However, several accidents at the Strutt lounge she has had built has worried Munro as each new incident is increasingly more dangerous than the previous one; she and her two mates fear someone is sabotaging her new nightclub. The key to this fascinating Manhattan ménage a trois is the three lead characters and their relationships are put out there with no fan fare for readers to accept and enjoy or not. The story line is driven by the trio to include flashbacks that augment understanding their desires. The mystery at Strutts is a fine subplot that also augments the threesome's arrangement as the two men who cherish the heroine vow to keep her and her club safe. ONE AND ONE = THREE is not for everyone, but those who enjoy something out of the ordinary in their exotica will appreciate Sasha James' fun tale while wondering who will be standing hard when one and one = ecstasy for two at the climax.
