I've been a huge admirer of Mr Nick Rudd for along time
This is hard for me to put into catogories
i like it
you can do much worse
for damn sure

After playing in Turning Curious, and while playing in Weird Summer (wow! get Cry For The Moon/Homer) Blown was Nick's alais project band. Blown gave us rock in it's simplist form, but new and innovative none the less. Creative in it's own right, yet simplistic, like the better Replacements albums, Nick Rudd's solo albums remind you what rock and roll is really about. With is latest release "One Track Mind" he does it again. This is a solid album, one of those you just put on and let it run. Refreshing in the sense it took me back to the days he played with Weird Summer. Granted, it doesn't sound like that, but anyone who knows Weird Summer knows you don't fiddle with it once it's spinnin'. Actually, I'd give it 4 and a half stars.
