5.0 out of 5 stars A Heart so Fantastic
First of all I want to address the fans who are confused about the point of an adaptation. When you read a book you get infinitely more involved with your characters than television allows. I for one am glad for this follow-up as I have always been a fan of Brook and can confirm that she is much more than meets the eye. Like the Grinch I get to see that Brook's heart...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not What I Expected.
When I got this book I was excited to read it because I thought I was going to get a good book with Brooke's POV on the events of Season 2 and extra things about her. After reading it I was very disappointed because they just changed not only the events but the characters weren't even the same as they are on the show. It's like the author re-wrote the whole season and...

I for one am glad for this follow-up as I have always been a fan of Brook and can confirm that she is much more than meets the eye. Like the Grinch I get to see that Brook's heart is actually larger than people are led to believe on the show. I would recommend it to fans or foes.

Because of this rad book, my summer at my granparents house was bearable. I am 14 years old and I am not the biggest fan of the show, but this book was so much fun to read! There were times when I wanted to keep going but I would force myself to put it down so that I would have something to look forward to the next day. I've only had that experience reading Bridget Jones and my mom's Judy Blume books. I can't wait for number three. If you love to daydream, you will love this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, July 3, 2006
A Kid's Review
This review is from: One Tree Hill: Novelizations #2: A Heart So True (Paperback)
I am a huge fan of One Tree Hill and watch it every week. This book is by far the best One Tree Hill book. It shows all of Brooke's feeling and emotions and they writing is really great. I am a huge fan of the Brooke/Lucas relationship and of Brooke. Now if you like the Lucas/Peyton relationship or just don't like Brooke then this probably isn't the book for you. The book is mostly based around Brooke recovering from the heartache that the whole Brooke/Lucas/Peyton love triangle caused her. It most shows Brooke's relationship with Lucas,Peyton, and her parents...which is a good thing that we get to read something about her parents cause they aren't involved in the show that much. Overall this is a great book and once you pick it up you won't be able to put it down.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Book So True, March 7, 2007

I am not the typical person who watches ONE TREE HILL and definately not the type of guy who would pick up a book based on the series. After all, I'm straight. And a guy.

But last year I was on a trip and found this book in my hotel room. Having run out of everything else I gave it a try--and was quite surprised.

Anna Lotto has taken teenage "types" and turned them into people. People with real problems, with real dreams and real love to give. As we read about the new kid who comes to school and steals her heart by playfully teasing her, I couldn't help but think back to my own days in High School and how much things have changed, and at the same time how little.

Ms. Lotto knows how to keep the melodrama to the minimum and keeps offering the reader little presents with each turn of the page.

A real treat.

The second novel in the One Tree Hill series is by far the best. This book is meant to be a great-seller! For die-hard 'One Tree Hill' fans and fans that have never saw the show before, I recommend getting the book, you'll be hooked after one chapter!

Great book!!! Awesome for Brooke lovers. And unlike most TV books, this was written by someone who works on the show.

I recomend this book to everyone. I read this book in 4 hours and I loved every minute of it. I loved it so much that I read it a second time. When you read this book you can "See the world through Brooke's eyes, from crushes to the class presidency!" This book is different than other TV books because an actual writer on the show actually wrote it. Overall I recommed this book to every person no matter if you are or are not a "One Tree Hill" fan.

I am a One Tree Hill fan, but I would reccomend this book to anyone, because it is very good. It is about one of the characters, Brooke Davis and gives insight to her life. It is about a girl in high school who is in love with a boy and it is a great love story also a great friendship story about a girl and her best friend (Peyton). I found everything she went through very realistic and loved the whole thing. I read it all at once (it took me almost 5 hours). I have read it 3 times and like it better each time. I am giving it my friends to read and I love recommending it which is why I wanted to review it and tell any girl (or boy if you are sensitive) that it is a great read. Thank you.
