5.0 out of 5 stars Double wow!
There's no question about it - this book is great. I got it in the afternoon and finished it before I went to bed. I couldn't put it down. All Two Of A Kind books are really good. In this book, Ashley likes this boy a lot. The problem is that the boy asked Mary-Kate out. To find out what happens, read this exellent book.

2.0 out of 5 stars I was very dissapointed. :(
I got this book from the library and let's just say I'm very glad I didn't pay for it. The plot is that Ashley likes this boy named Pokey Valentine (yes that is his real name! A Kid's Review
This review is from: One Twin Too Many (Two of a Kind, No. 4) (Paperback)
I got this book from the library and let's just say I'm very glad I didn't pay for it. The plot is that Ashley likes this boy named Pokey Valentine (yes that is his real name! And BTW: he's sister's named Prancer!). So when they get assigned partner's in history class, Ashley desperately wants her partner to be Pokey. Unfortunately Mary-Kate gets Pokey, and Ashley gets a boy she doesn't really care for. Ashley pays Mary-Kate to trade partners. But later Pokey asks Mary-Kate if she can come over to his house and play basketball and "stuff". Mary-Kate figures the "stuff" meant he was asking her out on a date, and she doesn't know how she'll tell Ashley. But when she asks him what he meant, he sheepishly explains that he knew she was good at basketball and he wanted her to coach him on several things he wasn't too good at! Also, Carrie likes a boy in her class at the college Kevin teaches at and they get into some fights because Kevin doesn't like him. It sounds somewhat interesting, but aside frome it being funny when Pokey lists everything in basketball he's not very good at (and his name!), it's really a very boring book. The other Two of A Kind books are MUCH, MUCH better and I would reccomend getting another one of the books instead of wasting your time reading this one.

A Kid's Review

Ashley Burke has another major crush! She likes a guy in her class, Pokey Valentine. When she finds out she's partners with him, she gets absolutely so excited. About a day later, Pokey asks Ashley's twin, Mary-Kate Burke, if she could come over to play basketball and stuff. Did he ask her out? Mary-Kate's two friends, Max and Brian, said that he did. Oh no! Ashley is getting crazier and crazier about him every day. How would she break the news to Ashley? And how would she react?

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Great!!!, July 20, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: One Twin Too Many (Two of a Kind, No. 4) (Paperback)
This book is really great! I love it!:) Okie... Ashley has this terribly serious crush on this boy named...Pokey Valentine! So when there is an assignment by their teacher, Ashley hopes very much that her partner is...yep! You got it right! Pokey! Only that she gets assigned to do the assignment with an incredibly dorky guy, and Mary-Kate gets Pokey as her partner! Being so desperate, Ashley swaps partners with Mary-Kate. She gives Mary-Kate ten bucks in exchange for Pokey. However, at one time, when Pokey wants to play basketball, he asks Mary-Kate , instead of Ashley! Mary-Kate gets the wrong idea that Pokey is the one who likes her. When Ashley hears about the news, she feels heartbroken, but at the very last minute, Pokey says he likes her! Ashley swoons with happiness. Since then, Ashley and Pokey are like boyfriend and girlfriends.
