If this book had been free, I wouldn't have bothered with a review. The story has potential and the pacing's decent, but grammar and spelling errors--along with really awkward syntax--were jarring. The author made an unwise decision to write the book herself in English rather than in her native language with a competent translator (or in English with a very good editor.) I'm a voracious reader, so I always look for the more inexpensive Kindle books. I resent being misled by inflated reviews, even if it's "only" .99. She should either not publish until it's ready (the better plan), or publish it for free download.

This is not a bad yarn but the English is terrible, with spelling and grammatical mistakes aplenty. It gradually irritated me to such a degree I couldn't wait to finish the darn book. If it were better presented in English, I would have given it 4 stars; as it is, I'm being generous with 2.

This book was really, really hard to get through. I repeatedly put it aside to read something else, and would force myself to go back to it between other books because I don't like giving up on the book. My problem wasn't so much with the storyline - it's the writing that I found intolerable. It's like something a high school student would write. The sentence structure and dialogue is grating. The story itself was OK, but it took me months to get through it and honestly, it wasn't worth the effort.

Such a waste of time, so happy I got this free. There were many errors throughout the book and the storyline was horrible. The main character was an idiot and the more I read the more irritated i got. Don't waste your money.

I had not read anything by Willow Rose before and got this book as a freebie. I really enjoyed it and had to pay for the other two books in this series, but they were well worth the price. It is extremely satisfying to read a trilogy, going from one to the next to the last. This writer keeps your interest through the whole book. I will get more of her books.

Found this one of the worst books I have ever read. Poorly written, continual misspelling, poor use of prepositions as well as disjointed sentences. Not even a decent plot. Kept hoping it would get better, but never did. I was out of reading material or would have dumped it and certainly will never read this author again.

Very different psychological thriller. Book kept me guessing until the end. I will be looking for the next two follow up books.

This book really caught me by surprise and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am actually giving it 3.5 stars (I sure wish there were half stars). Character development was great and I was really surprised at the end.

It's not an on the edge of your seat kind of book, but one that creeps upon you and draws you in. I know there are a few books in this series and I look forward to reading each of them.
