This review is from: One Two Three & Bj4 (Audio CD)
The master virtuoso keyboardist and arranger, arranged BJ 1-4 almost to perfection. From this album the collective soul of the 1970s Jazz music is expressed so profoundly that you cannot ignore it.
Excellence!

4 Fusion classics in 1. And it's Bob James!,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: One Two Three & Bj4 (Audio CD)
All four of these albums as well as Heads and Touchdown are all 70's Jazz Fusion at it's best and required for breathing. I'm glad I bought them all together at one great price.
The Modest Mussorski inspired "Night on Bald Mountain", the cool "Nautilus, the beautiful "Feel Like Making Love", the fast and furious "The Golden Apple", the lovely "Your as Right as Rain", the icing on the cake of the second album "Dream Journey", the essential "Westchester Lady" and a great cover of "Nights are Forver Without You" a hit by England Dan & John Ford Coley. I bought is used because it is very difficult to get a hold of new. I paid almost the same for it used because I could not wait to get a hold of all these classics. Very worth my time and money. Being a fan of and since my two favorite types of music are Jazz Fusion and Progressive Rock I am nothing less than blown away by these great albums. All the Classical influences along with Jazz and the style and genius of Bob James make his music very distinct and original. I love the piano and synths back and forth like a classic Genesis album back in the Peter Gabriel era. All the funk and coolness of only the best 70's Fusion albums. You cant go wrong with any of these 4 albums and they are all here in 1 package.

Excellent Four Debut Classics,

This review is from: One Two Three & Bj4 (Audio CD)
I have followed Bob James' career since it's beginning. These first four CDs are the evidence of what makes him stand out in the crowd of his peers. So many of his classics, too many to name here, are in this set. A real treasure for the true Bob James fan.
