At first thought, you'd think 11 an y/o boy singing serious country songs, what a joke! I know I did! But the when I heard the single I was blown away. His voice is still high but he has such control over it, it's just amazing! The "B" side is a cover of Tammy Wynette's "Til I Can Make It On My Own." Yes that is a real grown up topic for a kid but he has to voice to pull it off! I can't wait for the entire CD in June! I haven't bought a CD by someone this young since the Moffatts came out in 95 at the same age, 11 and 12. They sold 250,000 copies with no airplay, but when their label tanked they took time off and 2 years later when Rock and since then they have sold over 2 million copies of their debut Pop record in Canada, Europe, and Asia. Their Pop CD was overshadowed in the USA though by the BSB and NSync. Anyway, This song is just amazing and the music video will debut in coming weeks along with Billy making appearences on Rosie and the ACMs. He must be impressive to be on Sony Records, home of the Dixie Chicks! With his real young age I don't think he'll be another Leann Rimes but I'm sure his CD will at least go Gold, then in coming years his success will explode to multi platium! One Voice is Billy Gilman!

Watch out Country Music! Be ready for this youngster. I heard this song on CMT and saw this video and it just touched my heart and I balled. Mr. Billy Gilman is a wonderful singer, his voice is amazing. From the songs that I have heard so far, "One Voice" and "Til I Can Make It On My Own" is so incredible. He sings about LIFE. I would suggest ANYONE to get this CD. I know he is going to be a great star in Country Music. Good Luck Billy and Best Wishes!

WOW....speechless......

I first heard this song at my friends house, and when I heard it I thought it was a girl. Then I found out it wasn't. I love the cool lyrics and it doesn't swear either. It made me think of how true it is that it is sad to watch the news today. So buy it!

Ok the Frist Time I Heard Billy Gilman was In June on CMT The Video One Voice Hit My Heart.And the next day i went to buy Billy Gilman's one Voice single. And I Still Have The Case And Cd. but Now I Own One Voice,, Classic Christmas, and Dare To Dream. and all are great

I saw Billy Gilman at the George Strait tour with Asleep at the Wheel. At first, I refused to listen because I thought that he was just a little kid who thought he could sing. But my opinion changed fast. When I heard the lines "he pulled a pistol from his bag and tossed it in the river below..." I knew that he was different than other singers. I bought his cd. I love every single song on it, and I've never liked every single song on ANYONES cd before. It was also the first cd that I ever sang along with. I never sing along with cds, but his seemed different and I felt like I NEEDED to sing with his music. I know that doesn't sound like much, but it means a lot to me, and people noticed the change right away. If you buy this cd, you'll get hooked on him. There is no "he's okay", you'll love him, and nothing short of that. I can promise you that much.

This 12 year old country sensation is amazing! This debut single from him shows just how talented he is! I am very impressed with this song! I think he is better than Le Ann Rimes because he can hit the really high notes without really belting it out. This kid is a really down to earth person and definitely will go far in his career. Recently he performed this single at the "American Music Awards" and hit a note so high, and held it, for so long, that it garnered him a minute long standing ovation. I guarantee that you will like this song if you like country. The sincerity in his voice is also a plus. What will happen when he reaches puberty?

I, like many others, saw Billy Gilman on the ACM awards with Ray Benson & Asleep at the Wheel. He blew me away singing Rolly Poley. The first time I heard his song, One Voice, I had the TV on CMT in the middle of the night with my 4 month old son. I was asleep and my son was awake on my lap. It was one of those nights that he wouldn't go to sleep. This video came on and the voice was so incredible, I had to open my eyes to see who it was. I was surprised when I saw this 11 year old boy singing this incredible song. It put my son to sleep almost immediately. I bought the CD as soon as it was released. Each and every cut is wonderful. There are not many CDs released in which I like each and every song. This one I do. I keep the CD in my truck and when I am playing it and my son is in the truck, he always falls asleep. I can't wait for his next release.

My best friend and I were lazily flipping through the channels the other day when we came to CMT and the beginning of this video... We were still chattering away and commenting on the show we had just finished watching when we started asking each other if the singer was really that "little boy" on the screen... Our chatter slowly came to a halt as we sat there, mouths agape, just staring. Now, I am not the type to be touched by songs, especially if they have the serious topic as "One Voice" does. But then I am rarely speechless. Billy is able to give young male singers a good reputation (unlike those Hanson boys) ... his voice may be young, but it is mature beyond its years. "One Voice" is inspiring on a dozen levels; I wish the best of luck to Billy in the future!

I have not gotten his single but I have seen One Voice on CMT. Billy Gilman has such an amazing voice for an 11 year old. The first time I heard One Voice it sent shivers up my spine! He is so amazing. I am 13 years old and I love to sing and he really has inspired me. The song also has a great message: Just one voice can make a difference. If one person speaks up it can help. I can't wait to get his CD!
