This is the perfect book for lulling your small children off to sleep -- particularly in the summertime! It's a gentle and sweet story that's also a counting book, so the kid on your lap can count up to ten and then back down with the story. Warm, funny pictures, too. Excellent!

My 10 month old loves this book, and so do I. The illustrations are beautiful, and the simple text is perfect for very young children.
