Revisiting old friends,

This review is from: One Wild Wedding Night: Getaway\Runaway\Three-Way\No Way Out\All The Way (Harlequin Blaze) (Mass Market Paperback)
I won't go into a synopsis here, since it's been done. The stories are written by a proven author so you know they're going to be written well. And you know there will be a lot of sex in them. Hot, steamy sex. All to the good. But what makes this book is that it takes memorable characters that showed up in another book (Overexposed) and lets us see what is happening to them without having to have five or six separate books. I loved playing catch up with some great characters. That said, it's not required that you read the first book and know the characters beforehand to enjoy this book, but it gives it added depth and dimension if you do.
Most of the stories bring couples together that either were in love or had been in love so that she didn't have to give too much build up to their romance. It's hard to write short stories that involve strangers getting involved without it seeming out of the blue and a bit sleezy. Not that there's anything wrong with sleezy. *g* The second book manages it though, bringing a stanger into the fold in a sexy and sweet way. Mia's story, Three Way, may be a little bit too much for some readers since her true love actually brings in another man to pleasure her and fulfill several of her fantasies. I was a little shocked at how far it went before they stopped. But at least they did stop. ;) All in all very interesting stories and a great way to let us explore secondary characters who have a lot of character.

One Wild Wedding Night,
This review is from: One Wild Wedding Night: Getaway\Runaway\Three-Way\No Way Out\All The Way (Harlequin Blaze) (Mass Market Paperback)
It's Izzie and Nick Santori's wedding night. While they celebrate in their honeymoon suite, Izzie worries that her five bridesmaids will be all alone while she is having the time of her life...
Getaway Dean Willis is an FBI agent who posed undercover trying to expose Bridget Donahue's boss Marty. Dean and Bridget shared a very passionate kiss that has lingered with Bridget for months. Too bad he was just using her. Dean hated that he had to use Bridget to put Marty away, especially after falling for her. Now she's in danger and he has to protect her but she doesn't trust him. The sparks between Bridget and Dean become a full-blown fire when they meet up again! Getaway is exciting, sexy and really romantic. Runaway Leah Muldoon has fallen asleep in the back of the limo that is supposed to be taking her home from Izzie's wedding. Sloan Kincaid has no idea who the sexy siren sleeping in his limo is, but he wants her, badly. After they spend a passionate night together, what will happen when Sloan finds out more about Leah though? In Runaway, Leah is sexy and sweet and Sloan is charming and handsome. They really clicked for me. They do a good job of steaming up Sloan's limo too! Three Way Mia Natale ran away from Brandon Young when he got too close. After attending Izzie's wedding, she heads up to her hotel room where Brandon surprises her and demands the night of passion she promised him before she left. Brandon plans on fulfilling all of Mia's fantasies, even the one that involves someone else. Three Way is wicked and wild. It's also romantic and very sensual. Mia found the perfect guy in Brandon and vice versa. I'm glad it didn't go too far though! Her Way Vanessa McKee and Stan Jackson grew up together but haven't seen each other in a long time. Vanessa swore that if she ever came face to face with Stan again she would give him exactly what he deserved. So when she sees him in the hotel bar after Izzie's wedding, she gives it to him! Stan feels awful about what happened to Vanessa and he understands that she may never forgive him. When he finds her naked in his hotel room though, he finds a way to make it up to her, again and again! Vanessa is great! I love her tough yet feminine personality. Her Way is a touching and sexy story with a great happily ever after. All The Way Gloria Santori and her loving husband Tony are a typical married couple; three kids, busy lives, and no romance anymore. So when Gloria decides to stay in the hotel after Izzie's wedding and a sexy "stranger" surprises her, she gets the night of passion she has been craving for so long. All The Way is a romantic and sexy story that brought a tear to my eye (once I realized that Gloria wasn't being bad!). All The Way is a heartwarming, wonderful story with a ton of passion. Leslie Kelly's books are always sexy, romantic and fun. One Wild Wedding Night is no exception. Ms. Kelly's naughty side really shows in One Wild Wedding Night. It has five fantasy stories full of romance and steamy, hot sex! I loved it! Nannette Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

Getaway--- Bridget wants Dean but doesn't trust him after it seems like the only reason he hit on her in the first place was to use her for information. Bridget still wants Dean and is determined that if they have to be stuck together in some random place then she will use him if just for one night. Dean wants Bridget but knows if he gets with her he will want her for more than one night and he doesn't think that is possible.
Runaway-- After passing out from lack of sleep in what Leah thought was the limo to take her back to the hotel. She finds herself not in hers but in the back of Sloan's limo. Sloan thinking she is a prostitute propositions her and when the truth is reveled he not only fells incredible bad but wants more time with Leah. Leah's not sure to trust a man who thinks so little of her can she trust her heart to him? Three-Way-- Mia ran from a man who could really love her because she didn't trust that he could be enough to fufill all of her need. However when Brandon shows up at the hotel they are staying at all bets are off. Brandon shows her not only can he fufill all of her needs but he can do them to the tune of her greatest fantasy. No Way Out---When Vanessa sees the guy who took her virginity she is furious. Stan however doesn't understand her hostility because he was sure her first time was mutual. Both of them have secrets that when they are reveled show the dept of pain they both endured over the years. All The Way---Gloria loves her husband and family but sometimes life just gets to routine for her. Until in the hotel bar her husband comes to play the stranger game. It gives them a chance to reconnect as a couple in the most pleasurable ways.

Hang On For The Ride of A Lifetime,
This review is from: One Wild Wedding Night: Getaway\Runaway\Three-Way\No Way Out\All The Way (Harlequin Blaze) (Mass Market Paperback)
The author did a really great job of writing 5 interrelated stories in one book! The story is centered around the wedding of Izzie Natale and Nick Santori. Izzie's five bridesmaids include her two sisters Mia and Gloria and her three friends Bridget, Leah and Vanessa. As often happens at a wedding, the single women wonder if they will ever experience the kind of love exhibited by the wedding couple. The lone married matron of honor reflects on her own marriage and wonders if the spark is gone from her relationship with her husband. Each of the bridesmaids are in for the time of their lives as they each experience an erotic night that begins once the wedding reception ends.
One Wild Wedding Night is the last book in the Santori family of Chicago series. This is the first book I've read by this author; however, I will definitely read the first five books in the Santori family series. They are: Don't Open Till Christmas (Mark's story); Asking For Trouble (Lottie's story); Overexposed (Nick's story); Behind the Red Doors -"Sheer Delights" (Joe's story); and That's Amore!- "There Goes the Groom" (Luke's story).

Although I don't usually read Harlequins, I've enjoyed books by Leslie Kelly after being introduced to her with her Kindle freebie, Slow Hands. She's a consistently good writer, with good characterization, interesting plots, and plenty of sizzle. However, this book wasn't quite as good as the others I've read by her. Each of the stories center around a bridesmaid at Izzy's wedding (you can meet all of them in her previous book, Overexposed). Some of the stories were better than the others (I liked the first three better than the last two). One of the best stories (as far as pacing, tension, and steaminess is concerned), is about a three-way. I normally don't read erotica because it's usually not written well, but whew... I think Kelly found her niche with that one. ;) (It wasn't a completely consumated three-way, in case that matters. I don't want to say too much so I don't spoil it for anyone else.) Overall, this was a good read, but a couple of the stories weren't as well-paced or interesting, hence the 3.5 stars.

this is ONE WILD WEDDING NIGHT,
This review is from: One Wild Wedding Night: Getaway\Runaway\Three-Way\No Way Out\All The Way (Harlequin Blaze) (Mass Market Paperback)
When former Marine Nick Santori and injured dancer Izzie Natale tie the knot (see OVEREXPOSED) in frozen Chicago in January, her five horny bridesmaids share in the fun.
"Getaway". Having met before, bookkeeper Bridget and FBI undercover agent Dean go under the covers together. "Runaway". Stripper Leah falls asleep in a stranger's limo by accident, but provides the performance of her life when she dances a tango with realtor Slone. "Three Way". Lawyer Mia ran away from kindhearted Brandon as she feared the intensity of her feelings, but he has arranged for her to indulge in her secret erotic fantasy that once she told mentioned to him. "Her Way". Rockettes' Vanessa sees NFL star Stan, who betrayed her so when he says a seductive hi, she pretends to be Laila Ali and punches him in the jaw. "All the Way". Married Gloria, the mother of three small children, meets the seductive European. The title says all as ONE WILD WEDDING NIGHT contains five entertaining contemporary romantic novellas. Married readers will recall their special night and singles will reconsider their wedding dreams as the five horny females take Chicago. Harriet Klausner

I just started reading Ms. Kelly's books. Slow Hands was my first. I liked it a lot, but this one....the first 3 stories were pretty good. I got to Mia's story and to me it was TRASH. I want to read a story about one man and one woman. No threesome. NO..No... I got to Mia's story and closed the book. I wish I had known this. I would not have purchased the book. I will make sure before I purchase any more of her books that this kind of story is not what I want to read.
