Greg Stamper's songs lift me up. I have a challenging job and when I really need to feel inspired I click on my Mp3 of Greg Stamper's album of songs "One with You" - my spirit sizzles when I hear the song "Toward My Our Wholeness", but the song which especially lifts me up is OM (bebot) meditation - the sound of the waves and the rhythm plus the beautiful wordless sounds - WOW - releases all of my tensions or concerns immediately. I can't say enough about the amazing spirit-filled lift I receive listening - and singing along with this Album - "One with You" - everyone needs to have this collection of songs - to connect with the spirit within!

Too much of what gets classified as "soul" music these days does very little to actually address issues of the soul. While dating, dancing, and desire are all important topics that the realm of R&B covers well, shouldn't, at some point, "soul music" address questions of existentialism, purpose, and our relationship with God? "One With You" does just this. The "you" here could be interpreted as you (the listener), God, or both. While songs like "Never Giving Up" are overtly inspirational, other songs like "Om" are complexly layered with multiple meanings hidden in seemingly benign lyrics and melody. Don't let the new year begin without having listen to and deeply reflected on this album. It will greatly influence your outlook.
