Book Description

Duckbacks July 2002
Eve-Ann Prentice’s haunting book draws on her wide experience as a war correspondent capturing the almost unbearable terror at the Balkan front line. Often at risk herself, she became one of the few women to report close-up the horror inflicted by the warring factions and NATO’s irresponsible interventions.

With in-depth knowledge and access to all major figures, from war-criminal and Serb leader Radovan Karadzic to Vuk Draskovic, Serbia’s democracy leader, Prentice skillfully defines this war’s twisted psychology, coupled with a gripping personal account of one woman at war.
