Book Description

July 16, 2010
Any occupation, no matter how worthy it sounds, or socially acceptable others think it may be, cannot be called a "good job", unless it is good for your spirit, your emotions, your relationships and your health. For anything to bring you true meaning and fulfillment, it must nurture you from the inside out. In the first part of One Woman's Journey to the Work She Loves, you'll get a front row seat as Heather opens up and shares some of frustrations that harbored in her spirit. She didn't just need a new job, she needed a new direction. The second part of the book is your opportunity to connect with your own career love affair. This easy-to-read book is your guide to getting in touch with the greater calling that is waiting to be released.

4.0 out of 5 stars The work you love is a journey, not a destination, August 17, 2010
This review is from: One Woman's Journey to the Work She Loves (Paperback)
Joel is a warm and gifted story teller. Through stories of Heather, James, Monty and others, he guides us through insights and leading questions to uncover the truth within us -- that many of us find ourselves far too comfortable in the ruts of our own mediocrity. Joel gives us more than hope for an authentic future; he lights the path before us to see what he already sees: the beauty and power within each person was they reveal their own path to truly be fully alive and serving.

What a blessing this book is... Joel has such a wonderful ability and passion to help lead us on our own journey, just as he helped Heather. This book is easy to read and so very uplifting!
