We've heard the buzz words for years now. New World Order. New Age. One World. Global village.

Lured by delicious visions of peace on earth, equality for all mankind, equitable distribution of wealth and ecologically sustainable development, a groundswell of opinion, of hope, has been growing for generations. We want to live in a true democracy; a world free of war, or pain, where all of life is revered as it should be. We read the glossy New Age magazines and the publications issued by the Council on Foreign Relations, and we watch the world's military going into trouble spots to co-operate in bringing peace. We participate in the new spirituality. We learn that all paths lead to God - nay, that we ourselves are gods - and we listen to channelled revelation about a coming paradise on earth when negative thought forms will have been abolished.

Ever since President George Bush Senior used the term during the Gulf War in 1991, a new world order has been firmly on the international agenda. Since then, diverse organizations have worked feverishly to amalgamate the great institutions of society - politics and international relations; the military; economy; education and religion.

But what, really, is behind this New World Order? And what will you, the average citizen of Planet Earth, get out of it?

One World is a detailed tour of the historical, philosophical, spiritual, economic and revolutionary background to the new world order. The author presents a tightly woven and comprehensive overview of a plan, that has been operating for centuries, and which is now reaching completion. He demonstrates how the world's money supply has been concentrated in few hands, outlines the influence of secret societies on political success, demonstrates the real agenda behind new educational approaches aimed at producing a generation of fodder for the new world order - children raised without learning to think for themselves.

Brooke's thesis is that we, the citizens of this planet, are being sold a bill of goods - a great lie, generations in the making, designed to enslave us and remove our freedoms using the age old arguments of ecological necessity, the need for spiritual evolution, and so forth. He examines closely the spiritual influences behind the One World Religion and finds the same shadows - hidden players, whispering sweet words into religious leaders' ears, capturing the world with temptation and the promise of temporal power.

Who are these spiritual hierarchies? What is their true agenda? Once the world has been disarmed and cobbled together under a single leader, what will everyday life be like for the masses? And what will be required of those who would be leaders of this brave world? What kind of bargains will they have to sign in their own blood?

One World is a brilliant exploration of the forces behind globalism. It explains the issues clearly and succinctly. Its conclusions, reached after exhaustive intellectual analysis, are compelling.

This book ought to be required reading for anyone interested in globalism.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Tyranny of Man's Philosophy unveiled, July 26, 2002
By
This review is from: One World (Paperback)
Tal Brooke has an astounding capacity for social and cultural analysis. His brilliant weaving of the progress of thought through history and their resultant effects on society are worth the price of the book. From philosophy through psychology and into politics, education and spiritualism, his insights are well researched and told with narrative vivacity. Very helpful for anyone who wants a big picture understanding of why we are the way we are now as a society. I love his colorful analogies throughout like when he debunks modern man's attempt at removing God from his seat of dominion in philosophy and replacing him with ourselves as the center. He likens this to standing next to a life-sized cardboard cutout photo of a celebrity and taking a picture and presto! We think we are now in the picture with that celebrity, while really we are fools to think so. Anyway, while I don't share Tal's end time millenialism with a future "Antichrist," I still consider his warnings very pertinent to the danger of worldwide tyranny and despotism. Future Antichrist or not, man has a drive toward tyranny in all his culture and beliefs.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book is a masterpiece, November 14, 2001
This review is from: One World (Paperback)
Aside from its infrequent sardonic passages, this book is a masterpiece.

Today's gospel of multiculturalism contains a moral calculus that denies not only the difference between good and evil, but goes even further by denying good and evil outright. Instead, an elitist professorate allied with a cadre of new age prophets proclaim there are no facts beyond political perspective and no reality beyond the constructs of language. We are told that tolerance, not truth, must reign supreme. Yet it is precisely the purveyors of the religion of tolerance that are incapable of tolerating anything other than their utopian vision. And on that utopian vision all possessing sanity must be horrified. A common theme of all utopian thinking is to view at least one segment of humanity possessing derivative value (Pol Pot, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Barbara Marx Hubbard, to name just a few). We must embrace the simple fact of history that Hitler and Stalin killed more people off the battlefield than all of the battles of World War II combined. With enough faith, however maligned, people can be led to believe, and perpetrate, anything. Thus enter new age prophet and self-appointed sage Brian Swimme, who perhaps best exemplifies new age doctrine when he wrote: "The well-being of the Earth is primary. Human well-being is derivative." Chilling words indeed. In this case, the phrase Thousand Year Reich is replaced with the phrase Well Being of The Earth. So the stage is set: environmentalism becomes a handy epistemology for eliminating from the planet all who continue to prevent the Great Harmonic Convergence. All that the Hubbard's and the Swimme's of the world require now is power. And make no mistake, as Tal Brooke convincingly argues, how their ilk would proceed with power in hand.

4.0 out of 5 stars THIS AIN'T NO BABBLING BROOKE!, October 7, 2005
By
STEPHEN T. McCARTHY (a Mensa-donkey in Phoenix, Airheadzona.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: One World (Paperback)
ONE WORLD by Tal Brooke is really nothing less than the ideal primer on the full scope of that oft repeated phrase, "The New World Order." It provides a quick, but incisive glimpse of every facet of this diabolically deceptive Cubic Zirconia. When the epiphany occurred for me many years ago, and I suddenly saw the Big Picture of my intensive studies, I entertained the idea of writing a book that would pull together all of the seemingly disparate threads of "The New World Order" to illustrate for my readers the full weave of the specious utopian dream. But shortly thereafter, I encountered Brooke's ONE WORLD and realized that I had been beaten to the punch. That's fine; as long as the Truth has been elucidated by SOMEONE, it didn't need to be me.

I can still clearly recall that night, sitting at my desk and believing that I was engaged in two separate studies: religion and politics. And then suddenly, in a moment, it was as if the curtain on the stage was pulled back to reveal all of the props, the painted backgrounds, and the costumed players who were acting out the play called, "The New World Order", just as it had been penned by the unseen playwright - the prince of darkness. I was astounded to realize that all of the different scenes actually formed acts, and that the acts formed a unified, but very dark story. There were no independent, nor secular parts, I found - they all coalesced into a single production. And to carry this analogy one step further: one could argue that The Holy Bible is the review written by a Critic who has seen the dress rehearsal. He says it's a bad show, and it will close before its scheduled run is completed. And since the Critic owns the theater, we can take His Word for it.

One can separately study the different arms of the Shiva-like New World Order entity : G. Edward Griffin's, THE CREATURE FROM JEKYLL ISLAND: A SECOND LOOK AT THE FEDERAL RESERVE will give you a full understanding of the money powers behind it - the muscle, the bodyguard. Walter Martin's, THE KINGDOM OF THE CULTS goes into the spiritual forms it can assume and the sophism it employs. David Barton's, ORIGINAL INTENT: THE COURTS, THE CONSTITUTION AND RELIGION examines the legal bulwark of the entity and the judicial means by which it seeks to undermine the foundation of the Truth that opposes it. Or TORNADO IN A JUNKYARD by James Perloff, which unveils the pseudo-logical secular birthright that it claims and then uses to suck in those adherents who lack a spiritual bent. And I don't propose that ONE WORLD should be read in lieu of any of those other titles, but ONE WORLD serves as an excellent overview that, like a road map, can be used to graphically perceive how these many paths converge at a predetermined "place" even when the traveler may have had a different destination in mind.

Tal Brooke writes with great power, passion, intellect, and lucidity! He has a creatively infused mind that can transform thoroughly researched non-fiction into a book that reads like a page-turning suspense novel. Like me, he is an "idea bulldog" who once he has gotten a grasp on the target, shakes it out violently and relentlessly until every piece has come loose. And now it can be observed and examined from every imaginable angle so that a full understanding of the machination can be obtained, and the functioning of its gears understood. A couple of years ago I loaned my copy of ONE WORLD to a friend and later asked her if his writing reminded her of anyone she knew. "You!" she answered. She recognized the inner "GRRRRR!" that Brooke and I share. In many respects, ONE WORLD is the book I would have written if Tal Brooke had not. (Now whether I could have pulled it off nearly so successfully may be quite another matter.) A couple of his chapters that castigate what I call "McChristians" brought to mind an essay I wrote many years ago, which segues into another observation.....

Tal Brooke is a Born Again Christian and writes pointedly from that world-view. That's OK, because it is largely correct. But Brooke misses the nuance on a couple of occasions when he fails to recognize the subtlety that separates the wholly deceived New Ager from the kernel of truth that does exist in some "New Age" teachings, and which is responsible for pulling the person with that mind-set into the arena completely. For instance: On page 57 he correctly identifies the "cornerstone of the New Age movement: MAN IS GOD." But on page 83 he lumps in with that definition the Gnostic idea that man is a "spark of the Divine." But these are NOT synonymous. In the first, it is argued that God does not exist apart from the mind of man, whereas in the second, the "spark" is not substantive apart from the Divine Flame that gives it birth and meaning. Brooke also dismisses the concept of reincarnation, with its ties to the New Age school, as being antithetical to the message of The Bible. This is simply not so. (See my Amazon guide, "SO YOU'D LIKE TO...FIND REFERENCES TO REINCARNATION IN THE BIBLE" Parts 1-5.) The prince of darkness cannot draw people to himself by feeding them a diet comprised entirely of lies; that's too easily discerned even by the nitwit. His genius is in mixing his leaven (a Biblical symbol for sin and evil) with the overarching truths that call naturally to the mind of man, and which the mind can enthusiastically embrace. Not recognizing that the dough also contains the leaven that the devious cook has intended for him, the man ingests and assimilates it and afterwards, unwittingly sends his compliments to the chef. (See Matthew 13:33 & 16:5-12) But having recognized the devil's leaven, Brooke has chosen to run the entire meal down the garbage disposal. I don't really have a problem with that. For most people, erring on the side of caution is preferable to running the risk of contracting food poisoning!

Like Brooke, I had to learn of the New Age evil the hard way. He was once a personally selected disciple of the false messiah, Sai Baba of India, and followed him for 2 years. (See his book, AVATAR OF NIGHT.)

I was a misguided, third-generation student of the Edgar Cayce readings. (*Cayce was once asked by a seeker, "Would a study of THE SECRET DOCTRINE be of benefit?" His answer in reading #470-10 was, "The study of any portion of same would be of benefit, but only in so far as it will enable the self to open for that which may be given in its meditation. Commence, and then we may aid." THE SECRET DOCTRINE, in case you don't know, is one of the premier New Age "bibles." It was channeled by the luciferian Theosophical Society-founder, Helena Blavatsky, and contains the frightening assertion that "the Great Serpent of the Garden of Eden and the 'Lord God' are identical." -Vol. 2; pg. 132. You get that? Lucifer is god! Thanks for recommending a book containing that great truth, Ed!)

Later, I spent 5 years intensely studying and practicing A COURSE IN MIRACLES. After nagging doubts forced me to appeal to Him for the Truth, imagine my chagrin at having Jesus reveal to me in no uncertain terms that - despite the clear-cut claim of A.C.I.M. - He DID NOT dictate the Course - that it is actually a demonic deception! Not everyone's ego can admit to being duped after investing so much time, and dedicating so much energy to a path; not everyone can go back to the drawing board despite the embarrassment. Brooke and I both deserve credit for that much at least.

I cannot concur with ONE WORLD in its totality, and a book of this nature desperately calls for an index, which unfortunately has not been provided. Therefore I must withhold one Star from my rating, but don't think that I do not strongly suggest that you acquire, study, and take very seriously Tal Brooke's book, because I certainly do recommend it without reservation; this is one of the most important and penetrating books you could read about the times in which you live!

"Imagine no possessions - I wonder if you can - No need for greed or hunger - A brotherhood of Man", John Lennon sang in IMAGINE, a song he proudly described as "virtually a communist manifesto." But when Lennon died, his estate was worth many, many millions of dollars. For tax purposes, he owned Hereford Cows that he had never even seen. Like all Utopia salesmen, when he denounced private property, he meant YOUR private property, not his own. He wasn't practicing what he preached, but then they never do!

In the current issue of the Phoenix New Times is a review of the book, THE SPACE BETWEEN THE STARS by Deborah Santana, wife of the famous Rock guitarist. The article mentions that when she became pregnant in 1974, the couple's meditation guru, Sri Chinmoy advised her to seek an abortion, which she did. This was the same Sri Chinmoy who served as the interfaith chaplain to The United Nations. It's a shame that this guru urging the nations of the world to seek Peace, Love, Understanding, and Equality didn't urge that any of those great virtues be shown to the individual that Deborah Santana was Divinely ordained to carry in her body. That's because there is no real truth to the Utopia that the New Age promoters pay lip service to. These are simply hypocrites, figuratively selling their souls to demonic forces, and selling their twisted idealism to undiscerning and unsuspecting men and women. Peace for the Earth will not come by a Rock star's manifesto, a guru's advice, or the appearance of a Maitreya. It will come only when the Son of God returns and brings it with Him as promised.

Until then, do yourself a favor and purchase ONE WORLD if you want to see how the incestuous relationship between the Media's Talking Heads, International Bankers, Secular Humanists, "Progressive" Educators, New Age Gurus, The United Nations, American Politicians, Secret Societies, Fabian Socialists, Darwinists, Marxists, and Technology is working in concert to construct the New Age World Order - the dark prince's inky social condition. (Even if all of these ideologues do not recognize their spiritual benefactor.) And lest anyone be tempted to suspect that Brooke has reached conclusions that require a stretch of logic, he opens ONE WORLD with this succinct and transparent quote from Madeleine Albright's 1997 Harvard University commencement speech : "Today, I say that no nation in the world need be left out of the global system we are constructing." Do read Tal Brooke's somewhat futuristic book before it becomes merely a history book. This Brooke will carry you, the reader, to the stormy sea of the coming New World, and then identify the sly sharks that swim in it, so that you will not make the mistake of becoming their chum.

5.0 out of 5 stars You Shall Not Surely Die, August 23, 2008

This review is from: One World (Paperback)
Genesis 3:4-5 The serpent said to the women, " You surely will not die! For God knows in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

The author Tal Brooke spent years in India studying under an eastern guru in his attempt to be enlightened. He felt that he had found a religion of peace and ever lasting life. After all both eastern thought and America's New Age spiritualism promise just greater degrees of enlightenment. You don't really die you just reincarnate, and grow spiritually until you become like GOD... Tal Brooke exposes these movements for what they really are: The first lie on record in The Bible with a new twist.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, " I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the father but through me.

Behind this New Age religion that is being preached world wide is the concept that ALL roads lead to God. The author really demonstrates how this process is behind all worldly religions, and that it is one of the main pillars behind the up coming global religion. You can't get the masses to accept the coming world religion unless all roads lead to God. But that's not what our Lord and Savior said. He said that the gate is narrow, that he is the way. In order to accept the global concept you have to deny the words of Christ. I at one time believed that all ways lead to God because that is what my mother taught me. She learned it from a nun. The bible however, says something different.

Tal Brooke also informs the reader of the economic reality behind the up coming New World Order. The master planners of world government mean to achieve this through a global central bank (the world bank/IMF). The Federal Reserve is the central bank in the United States (a private bank I might add). This is the economic arm of the future world government. The author also discusses The Illuminati, RFID (radio frequency identification) chips that can be used to track every product and human on earth through implantable chips.

To the modern reader this information may seem like utter nonsense. That is until you start looking into it, and doing YOUR OWN RESEARCH. Tal Brooke does a masterful job of exposing these hidden global chess players who are manipulating the world into a state of global government. Every country is to have their representatives by population. How long do you think our constitution and it's protections are going to last with China, Russia, and other unfriendly regimes out voting us? It's time to wake up before we wake up and wish we had a government as kind as the one described in Orwell's 1984.

Great book at giving a general overview of the upcoming New World Order from a spiritual, economical, military, and governmental viewpoint. My only criticism is that it's 269 pages are too brief to fully explain this material. You will need to look at other sources to fully grasp the BIG PICTURE.

Final Assessment: Solid 5 stars, great overview. However, the reader is encouraged to branch out and look at other sources after reading this.

What "they" dont want you to know.

His book tied together a lot about what I knew from world history and finance. Read it so you will know where our New World Order Presidents, like Bill Clinton and George Bush get
their orders from, and who they really answer to. It will suprise you. Has a religious overtone, but you can ignore that if you want.

To quote Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter...

" "The real rulers in Washington are invisible
and exercise power from behind the scenes."

After reading several reviews of Tal Brooke's classic One World, I concluded that those who gave Mr. Brooke a one or two-star rating undoubtedly don't possess the mental capacities to comprehend what he wrote.

It appears that a high degree of spirituality, plus a higher than normal I. Q. are prerequisites for understanding Tal Brooke's several publications. I would that our failing culture could recover some of its qualities of yesteryear.

5.0 out of 5 stars Astonishing Revelation of Word Events, May 23, 2010
This review is from: One World (Paperback)
I started reading One World in a hot tub, appropriate for such a dynamic book. One World, is a start to finish kind of book. you can't put it down, and for the present day, this book is electrifying, considering that the first edition came out 20 years or so ago, truly prophetic!
In a present world full of conflict, Brooke can concisely take you through what is really happening, and what is lying ahead, at least for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.
The reality of evil and the hidden Aristocracy chapters will take you for a real eye opening ride.
I have read Tal's book over three times now, and always learn something new, especially in the world climate today and with the present manipulated state that the US is in.
This is among the top of the list of best books i have ever read. Read it, and pass it along, but don't put it on the book shelf, share this one,and for sure you will have done a favor to anyone who reads it.

5.0 out of 5 stars For those willing to take a good look, March 3, 2006
This review is from: One World (Paperback)
Truth is stranger than fiction. Tal Brooke does a good job of showing that the forces behind the emerging New World Order are not just political, but ultimately spiritual. These forces would like to remain hidden as much as possible, but they leave enough footprints behind that a good researcher can make a solid case showing what they're up to.

Brooke looks back at the past, examines the present, and gives us a glimpse into the future of the forces, visible and invisible, who are driving our world steadily in a very dark and troubling direction.

Great illustrations, solid analysis. A very good read.
