This One Year Bible is the BEST version of the Bible I've ever read. The translation is very clear and takes the guesswork out of the true meaning. Also, breaking daily readings into Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs keeps the interest alive. It's very easy to read and the translation is perfect for the modern day without compromising the truth. I especially like the size of the book because it's small enough to keep in a pocket or pocketbook and the ribbon bookmark makes it easy to find your place. I am especially happy with this book because, at the end of the fiscal year, I'll have read the entire Bible and that's a goal I've set for myself many times unsuccessfully. I STRONGLY recommend the One Year Bible in the New Living Translation Special Edition. It's wonderful!

The Bible is fine, however the size of the bible was not made clear. It is very small with small print.

I will be more carefull in the future

The One Year Bible is a great way to study the Bible in a year. I prefer the NLT text when I study at home. The small size of the Bible is nice, too. It would only be better if they put cross-references in there. Other than that, I'd say it's a great choice and a good value for the price.

Picked up this item for my best friend who is always running to her next stop. The cover is beautiful and the size is perfect for keeping in you purse or car. She will be reading it on her "down time" which is rare so it needs to be handy. Only reason for 4 stars is the tiny size of the print which comes with the handy size.

GIFT SUGGESTION: You may want to think about getting one each for a group of friends. I got this one for her and a larger version for me and it's nice to know we will be studying "together" no matter where we are!

This is the perfect translation for reading through the Bible in one year. It is very readable. The hard cover makes it more durable. My company gives them away for free. I have personally used the One Year Bible to read through the Bible over 10 times. It only takes 15 minutes a day to read it out loud.

I love the size of this one year bible. It is small and light weight and I can take it any where. I also love the hardcover. I had a paper back edition which fell apart very quickly because I took it everywhere with me. The sturdy hardback is just what I needed.

Great product. This is a wonderful way to read the Bible in one year. The New Living Translation helps to understand the scriptures in modern day language.
