I have an earlier version of the same and have just about worn it out. It's a great way to read through the Bible and while doing so, savor the beautiful way both old and new testaments blend. I love it so much, I bought this book as a gift to give to my dad for his 75th birthday and he loves it!

This terrific NLT is organized so that you get some of everything each day of the year - part Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament), part Greek Scriptures (New Testament), part Psalms, and a verse or two from Proverbs. It is not randomly organized - the reading from the Hebrew Scriptures is set up thoughtfully so that over the course of a few days you read about an event until you finish that story, and only then do you start on another. I'm used to the New World Translation, which is one of the most accurate around, and I find the NLT to be, in most instances, a pure joy to read. I find that this Bible helped me get my daily Bible reading back on track easily. Plus, this edition looks fabulous. All in all, buy one!

I am finding this a real relaxing way to read the bible, for the first time. Each day after arising I read that day, which is an effortless way to read the bible. It is easy to understand in its' New Living Translation, and I think the way most people reading the bible would like to do it.

Our church as a whole reads this daily Bible. I wanted one that would last for more than one year. I seen this one on amazon and thought how nice looking it was. Upon receiving it, I was pleasantly surprised that it looks even better up close. This particular Bible is excellent to understand and feels light and wonderful to hold. I recommend this to anyone who is seeking an easier way to understand and get into the Word of God!

The content and format of this Bible is wonderful. I bought this particular style because I liked the two toned design. As it turns out, the brown dye has bled into the green and looks terrible. It has never gotten wet...just bled on its own.

I love this bible. It is so easy to understand. It is like you are just reading a story. The format of a selection from the Old and New Testament, Proverbs and Psalms is just perfect. It is enough to motivate and encourage and not too much to deter you from reading daily. The cover on this Bible is beautiful and the leather is so soft. It is the nicest Bible I own.

It makes it so easy to have daily time in the word with this Bible which is broken up into 365 daily readings. It is a must have!

If you want an easy to read ONE YEAR BIBLE than this would be a good choice. I bought a lot of these as gifts!

I gave this to a young lady I work with who inquires a great deal about her spiritual endeavors in life. She was very surprise, and touched about receiving this book. She has so many questions for me... I told her read this book at least 15-minutes a day for one year, perhaps they can answer all her questions, and we can have fellowship when she is unclear. She was very happy to receive it, her tears were joyful ones. And if she doesn't read it every day this year, God has planted the seed for her to pick it up and read it when her time comes. It is a very beautiful Bible to give as a gift. The best gift to give is God's Word, and His Word made Flesh - Jesus...

This is an excellent item for those who truly want to know the Word but somehow don't seem to know where to start. Easy and quick reading in just ten to fifteen minutes a day. Very easy to include in anyone's daily shedule no matter how busy you think you are. An excellent gift that is well received. Recommended.
