About the Author

RONALD A. BEERS has been with Tyndale House Publishers since 1987, and is currently senior vice president and group publisher. In his present position, he has been responsible for developing and publishing many of Tyndale's Bibles and books. Since 1988, Ron has been a member of the central Bible translation committee for the New Living Translation. Ron was also the creator and general editor of The Life Application Bible (the best-selling study Bible in the world for the past ten years).

V. GILBERT BEERS Gil began his publishing career as editorial director at David C. Cook Publishing Company in the early 1960s. After that, Gil became a full-time author. Gil also served as editor of Christianity Today magazine, from 1982-1985.

I gave this to a friend. He has been reading it since he received it 5 days ago. He has actually been reading it to me since he got it and we are both being so blessed. There are scriptures as well as a pertinent message. Today he prayed before he read it to me "Lord I am sneaking a woman again into this men's devo". I would highly recommend this for men to read to their women. There is a woman's mini as well. I am going to get it for myself. My friend who runs a Christian bookstore recommended it. She gave it to a male friend who became a Christian by reading this devotional-he read it like a book (not daily chapters).

This is a great daily reader. My first one bought was stolen, along with my computer and other stuff, so hopefully and I pray that whoever stole it may get something out of this book as well. This book travels exceptionally well and is extremely motivational. The editing team put this together superbly. Chose the day, the months are colored and read the daily. It is laid out pointedly to inspire in such a simple way. My cousin does not read and he has said he reads this book, I hope its daily!?! I highly recommend this book for ANY kind of man. Enjoy!
